That should only be for those who buy a phone (currently £20 with a £10 lifetime discount), I havent had much luck getting them to apply something similar to mine even considering I've been with them 3 years.

Been with them far longer with 4 contracts & the best they will do is £2 extra discount on this deal. But I will loose the 500 mins to 0845/0870 or keep them but pay £16.

If i if I take out a phone I can get the £10 deal BUT your paying for the extra data in the mobile price.

Have you had a contract phone with Virgin in the past or currently got a contact phone with them?

You need to check out this recent thread for the best Virgin Mobile deal and how to get it. hotukdeals.com/dea…348

It is not just retention deal as you will see .

At the end of the day all that matters is who calls you. My mum got something decent but ended up cancelling as they messed her about (she doesnt use the allowance she has now anyways).

I pay £6.27 and get 1gb data, 250 mins. Major data drop if I want to upgrade to 4g. I'm at the point I'm just going to cancel because I can do much better on plusnet and the like. The phone prices are excessive though, an iphone SE for example works out £450 over 2 years, can get them direct from apple for £350. I mean when you consider how cheap the airtime is you could do a lot worse, but its still less than ideal. If they offered the Sony Compacts I'd probably opt for one myself.

Yes I had SIM in past long time ago. Just see in hot deal people get this deal then ring them just I had phone call from them this offer they give me

Make sure you ask what the EU data cap is I've the 30 day 1500 mins, unlimited text, 4gb data, only 1gb can be used in EU roaming,

stupid question i'm sure - but given Virgin use EE - could i get a Virgin Sim and put it into my iPhone that is currently locked to EE?

That usually works. I mean its not a guarantee but I've never seen a case of it not working personally. I've done this with a phone that was on Orange and another on EE in the past.

Would be interested to see what cashback there is first... So will await their websites changing

I've gone for this, I know there is the 40gb deal but you need to be an existing customer and I've tried to get it with virgin via calling them but they won't budge on giving me the deal.

Top cash back has so far tracked showing as £49 quid but this could come down to £45 I believe.

So if that pays out this will be £11.91 per month, which is fine for me.

You should be in luck, but to be sure, I would probably go to a pound store and buy a Virgin Mobile PAYG SIM and put this in your iPhone and check it works before you sign up to a contract.

You don't need to buy any credit, once the SIM is in your phone just call the Virgin automated service and ensure you can connect through to that. If that works you should be in luck to get a contract!

What are Virgin Mobile like in terms of speeds? I know they use EEs network, but are the speeds similar?

How about customer reviews service! This is a seriously tempting deal...

Just got the 40GB £10 deal without any virgin media accounts on second attempt.
