How is virgin´s signal? Currently on Three but it might be worth the change

Quite a random and nonsensical question that, Dinho.

I mean, Dave in Coventry might get a different strength signal to Doris in East London. Just like Debra in Bournemouth might get a good solid signal in her bedroom but in the living room it drops to one bar.

What I'm trying to say is, mobile signal on any network is dependent on a number of factors. It's a case of trying it out, maybe slapping a virgin payg sim into your phone just to see what the signal is like for you, before going ahead and signing up.

No point asking random people all over the country what their signal is like.

Good luck.

there is no cashback in quidco for this deal..closest option is.. £11 cashback

for a 12 month SIM only contract of £6 a month with 500MB data
If this has data rollover it is excellent! Anyone know if it does?
I have the 1gb plan which includes unlimited texts and 1000 minutes for a fiver a month and that has data rollover.

Found this in their terms and conditions after adding it to the basket.

Data Rollover: Unused data from your inclusive monthly allowance will be added to next month’s allowance (Rollover Data). Rollover Data is used ahead of your monthly data. Unused Rollover Data expires at the end of that monthly allowance period. Data add-ons excluded. 4G plans only.

So yes not does include data rollover.
Virgin mobile will increase thier prices in july,,so this £6 might go up

Yes it has data rollover
Think Virgin use EE

The increase is in July 2019 so not for a while yet.
there will be an increase this year and every year but is likely to be around 30p if rpi is 5%
Time to call Plusnet and ask for pac code.
They should match this deal, but no rollover.
Might even get £10.00 credit as well. I did last week.

Virgin uses ee. So the signal will be the same as ee
Pay £7 on three for unlimited mins and texts plus 4gb data
not enough data, for £10/month (no credit check) you can get 4 gigs of data unlimited texts and minutes with giffgaff rolling sim.

I'm already an existing Virgin mobile Customer, does anyone know how to switch to this please, do i order the sim online to be sent to me or call them and ask them to switch me to it? any help would be great
I got this a month ago for only £5, hukd post. Not had any problems with signal and data rolls over.

Any contract taken out after end of Feb will not incur a price rise this year. Maybe next year though.

The other offer is £5 gig for £9 so better deal than yours.
I think the £9 for 5gb is a better offer.

I have 4 SIM Only Plans that I'm moving over from Vodafone but their contract end dates are at the start of June. Already got my PAC Codes. It's a real shame there is ?apparently no way to delay the start date of these SIMs. The Live Chat Advisor said the billing starts as soon as I receive the SIM Cards - not when I put them in the phone or notify them of my PAC Codes. I tried to push him to how they would even know when the SIMs arrive, but he was very firm that billing would start from almost immediately.

I could get these SIMs but it's a bit silly to pay for 8 SIMs when I only can use 4 at a time. It's such a good deal though. Hmmm.

Call them up, tell them you're leaving, and ask the retentions staff what the best offer is they can make.

Admittedly was a few months ago, but when I told them I was leaving they offered 2500mins / 3GB 4G (rolls over) for £6pm.

I’m with them and have been for 6 months now. They seem fine. They even text to say when data is running out. So you not like they are hoping I’ll go over my allowance and pull my pants down.

Maybe you should elaborate a bit more instead of being eccentric? Just a thought...

I asked about switching my husband’s vm sim plan to one they currently have on offer and was toldby sales that if i call customer service they would be able to change my sim plan without any problem. I havent got round to calling customer service but i guess i should do to test this comment as these cowboys are well known for saying one thing and doing another.

They will send another sim but you keep your number but they will advice to back up your contacts.

Done this last week with a different deal

Id agree, it also has a possible £14 cashback on quidco so only £7.83 a month. Probably marginally better on tcb.

I've been with them a few times over the years. Never had any problems. My signal strength wasn't great with them but that's going to vary for everyone. No complaints from me.

That 500Mb has/had a triple data offer, so £6 for 1.5Gb. I ordered mine last month with the £11 quidco, now it seems there are better deals to be had! I want the £5 deal everyone else was talking about though!

Well that sounds like nonsense! I delayed a week before I put the SIM in and then got the PAC code to swap the number over - took 4 days though! Why not wait and check Virgin Mobile offers in June? The deals always change and you can always ask for a better deal...

I'll probably jump ship at the end of May. The Vodafone 4 SIMs retention offer ran out in March desire the contract end date being June. Making the total monthly bill jump from £65 to £145, which is insanely expensive. Managed to get £185 compensation yesterday from Vodafone after proving they - once again - lied to me (took over an hour on one phone call alone) but there is no way I'm staying with them after the shambles for 2 years in a row. They can't even tell me my contract end dates in June accurately as there are 4 numbers and it's all too confusing -.-
Trying to get the compensation was painful. It's like they thought I was robbing them. Kept saying I got over 50% off 4 SIMs for 12 months and I should be so grateful, why should they give me anything more. Because you promised and I have the live chat proof!! "Well we'll give feedback to this employee and that's all we can do".... Not good enough. Back and forth.

mrg8811 h, 45 m agoWorst company ever!! Avoid. Avoid!

Vodafone are the worst company. Vodafone have the highest number of complaints per 100,000 customers and I can vouch that they are the most incompetent company that has so far managed to stay afloat - amazing with their sheer level of incompetence.
