Voted hot and an option for those who get poor signal on 3 with unlimited everything.

Thanks OP
Excellent deal, and great network. Don't believe the likes of Sam from London who'll be along soon saying it's a low priority on ee. Not true, i get over 80mbps download speed at home, 50 minimum most places, exactly same as when i was with ee itself. This is even better than the 120gb for 20 i got few months ago.
The trouble with these Muppets is they give you a good headline deal, However, once your in they jack the prices up.

I know you can leave if they increase it mid contract, but its such a faff.

It’s a great network if everything’s going ok.However the Customer Service is atrocious when you’rehaving problems.

He's probably angry as he's heard the next OnePlus Pro device will have USB 3.1, so he's lost another thing to moan tell us about why we shouldn't buy one plus.

I'm on VM and I've got nothing like that, I've got 22.8 download.

Personally been on Virgin for over a year at £20.66 Unlimited plan, recently increased my plan to £27 with which I am happy as nobody else gives me the current speeds, if lucky Three gives me 2mbps up down.

What's the cap on this on EU roaming
37488448-Vnmve.jpgFrom my weakest signal point at home where Three used to be buffering at 0.5mbps
Heat but don’t use VM calculator.

3 hrs a day streaming or downloading video is 10GB per month apparently

That's odd since I get good Speeds on Three and so do others, I guess it depends on where you live, these are my Three speeds using a MIfi Router
37488615.jpgI got worst speeds on Vodafone, decent still but worst

I've tried nearly all networks ee and virgin work best in my location, Vidafone was really good but tariffs were not, three tariffs good but network was poor

Oh I've heard Londoners get worst data connection on things like Three and some other networks whilst in somewhere like the North Three gets the best connections whilst Vodafone being decent at best

Worth knowing, with the new sims that VM use, you can't send sms to landlines.
A colleague uses sms to topup a corporate gift card and no longer can use sms to do it. FYI.

Pesky streamers! I guess the thing with Virgin is it maybe cable but at public holidays that’s a lot of people watching TV streaming video via their V boxes over their cable network, that’s a massive impact on capacity for internet connection and speeds.

Yeah transient population moving rooms equals Three users are higher than anywhere else in the U.K., the new 5G Network with EE/o2/Relish base stations all hosting Three 3/4/5G should sort that capacity issue out no problem, be the best network and coverage in the U.K. “Three M25”

How good are those M25 speeds? You're talking about the motorway right?

No SSE Enterprise Telecom, CityFibre and Infracapital are building a Three network pipe right through Thames Water pipes, these will be connected to BT exchanges and LLU where possible into non BT Wholesale nodules, Three base stations will be shared with Relish(Three Broadband), EE as it is now and o2 & Three will also share base stations within the M25 since Vodafone had a hissy fit with o2 for wanting to use it’s old Bulldog network to provide London WiFi.
As others have said - Virgin customer service sucks!

Is it really a £1 discount deal?

I`m so pleased that this is freezing cold!

I have heard customer service complaints about all the networks available in the UK and I am not exaggerating

Please advice me on a network which I should go for?

Likewise but my personal experience is that Virgin try to cover up mistakes instead of taking ownership. As an example I was told that my complaint was passed to a manager as the handler couldn`t help and just kept repeating themselves. In effect they just handed it to another person after telling me a manager wasn`t available "as they are ALL in a meeting", but I shouldnt` be worried "as I`ve done my best and a manager will agree with me" - turns out you just tried to get your mate to cover for your lies in the hope I would buy it!

Eventually got compensation for my wasted hours being lied to and left and won`t ever have mobile service with Virgin ever again

Vodafone were excellent in comaparison for me
Customer service always been great for me, if you don't want to talk to them just do online webchat or pop into a store where they can do some things. Tethering works great for me, use on train to and from work with tablet and netflix.

Topcashback is currently giving £48 cashback for this sim only deal, making it potentially £18/month, now it seems quite interesting.
Can I cancel this sim only deal within 14 days in case I wouldn't be satisfied and change my mind, due to speed not performing as I hope, for example?I mean, I don't have any chance to test a Virgin prepaid at my house before ordering this deal, so I either risk it or lose it I guess..Would I lose some money if cancellation would happen within 14 days?

Pro rata billing, so if it’s crap call and cancel -worst that will happen is a bill for circa £1
I think OP should add the potential £48 Topcashback on the description, making it £18 per month if paid, don't think this deal deserves to be cold honestly, even if Virgin is crap for many, still a deal on per se as any other crap company (95% of UK basically so..)
As an existing customer, in the offers page I can see £25 for unlimited data.
I've tried talking to someone online and over the phone and they are not honouring it.
Quite frustrated.
