Another mortgage deal cheaper than the one I posted before. Possible £500 cashback (automatic not Quidco or TCB) Too late for me but might help someone! Again this came from MSE mortgage best buy checker so credit to Martin Lewis3301581.jpg

1.54% with NatWest is the one I’d go for. Virgin are harsher underwriting

From my mortgage broker, I also paid £150 recently to get to 1.58% lol. Anyways not complaining, some of the lowest rates probably ever (fingerscrossed anyways)

Gave l and c a call myself and can confirm Barclays 5y fix now dropped to 1.51 as Myriad said. Even though their website and MSE hasn't reflected this yet
Thank you Sten. Now waiting for Nationwide...

Really hope Nationwide would do the same as nowhere near competitive at the moment for the same 5 year fix
Hope Santander follow the same soon :-)

Yeah nationwide are seriously slow at reducing their 5 year fixed right now. It has dropped from 1.84% to 1.64 in the past month though. Needs to catch up with the others!

Actually looking at my Mortgage Information Sheet the max LTV is just 50% for the 1.51

I have no idea lol maybe Myriad can comment -he seems to have a broker who knows things! Probably not L&C, they don't tell me anything even though they admitted on the phone they have advance notice of deals

Hi Myriad. I was just about to jump on a Barclays 3 year fixed rate (my current deal ends 31 October). Is it worth waiting a day or two to see if Barclays rates across the board drop do you think? I phoned Barclays but they had no idea. (I asked Sten and he suggested I ask you!).
No new news on my end, got told to go with the 1.58. Whole possibility of Brexit deal being possible may have changed things. They were basically changing rates every week but haven't changed in 2+ weeks now.

I don't get it, I have a mortgage information sheet from l&c to prove the 1.51 50% ltv rate exists, or did exist 2 days ago

I have had the same deal from L&c via barclays plus £400 cashback for a 5year fixed. Also barclays are doing a 2year fix direct for 1.21% 60LTV
