This Virgin Money* card offers the longest 0% spending period, and if you're accepted you'll definitely get the full 30 interest-free months.

It's an all round card so you get 30 months for BT and money transfers. However there are fees so spending is the best for this card

Make that big purchase and have 2 and a half years to pay it off

Need-to-knows
  • Make sure you fully clear the card(s) by the end of the 30 months or you'll be charged 18.9% APR on any remaining balance.
  • Always pay at least the minimum monthly repayment, or you'll lose the 0% deal.
  • Spending length: 30 months 0% | Card issuer: Mastercard | Min income: £7,000
  • Rep variable APR: 18.9% (see Official APR Examples)
  • Minimum repayment: Greater of 1% of balance plus interest, or £25

read these reviews of the company uk.trustpilot.com/rev…com and apply at your peril. Shocking company.
lol i have a virgin credit card and i regret having it every day, the customer service team does not help at all, they locked my account because i didnt send back a confirmation of address letter, and when i called them saying i never got it, to send the letter again they said another company deals with that, i asked for their number and they couldn't give it to me, their whole system is out of place, took me 3 hours of complaining to get it sorted
Also would I be likely to get a better credit limit if I apply for the ‘0% spending card only’ as opposed to the ‘All Rounder card’? Or would there simply be no difference?
(Thanks for the deal OP)
Just been accepted, 32 months 0% for balance transfer, only 0.6% fee, cracking deal, and 10K limit, can’t complain, hoping never have to contact the customer services as reviews don’t look good, but will take advantage of the offers I have

Good stuff! 10k limit that’s quite high. I guess it all depends on income/expenditure/credit score etc but I would also be a ‘happy chappy’ if they offered me a 10k limit.
Does it come with a pencil to rewind my spending limit?

You must be under 30 or didn’t pay attention to the picture on the deal.

Yes it does depend on the income & cedit score. Moneysavingexpert’s credit club gives a very good indication with the % of chances of you getting accepted for a particular card, it’s free to join and takes everything into account. It told me that my chances of getting accepted for Virgin Money CC was 100%, and it was correct, got accepted straightaway

Ok.. now I’ve got it...I didn’t pay any attention to the deal picture at all. I remember C60/C90/C120 tapes & also trying to put the tape back inside after the cassette recorder had twisted it/pulled it out.

Hi. When you were applying did they ask you what credit limit you were looking for?
Can I just say I had a Virgin credit card and the only issue I ever had was that after a failed bank account transfer where my direct debits didn’t move to the new account and ended up missing payments, they reinstated my interest free offer no questions asked. They get some bad press but the only time I ever needed them they were very helpful.

No, based on my income and credit score they just offered 10K.
Have been with them for 12 months and did have an issue where they incorrectly charged interest for several months when I had a 0% offer...filled in the online form and everything was sorted in 48 hours...can't complain

Is it not the case...with any company you will always find people who have had a bad experience (and good experiences hopefully) however ‘the people who have had a bad experience are more likely to voice that frustration by posting a negative review’. Maybe? It’s just a thought. Any views anyone?
(I do however accept the fact that some companies are worse than others for Customer Service/product ease of use)

Can I ask how do you know they did a credit check again when you asked for a money transfer? I applied and got accepted straight away with 10K limit. I see their reviews are not great.

Bcoz I went to check my credit history when they rejected the transfer, I dnt knw what was the point they accepted the application sent me card with 2700 limit, and then refuse to transfer the money.

Yes very strange, why would they give you a card and then reject the money transfer? very bizzare.
