The trouble with virgin is only 3G internet on paygo

Didnt no that. Im with them but contracted so i get 4g, but good to no if im asked about payg sims for grandkids. Yea god that makes me sound and feel old talkin about grandkids. Thanks for the heads up
It's Virgin, it's a waste of £5! I topped up £10 for a secondary phone, used around £1 credit, and left the phone on (with mobile data off and connected to WiFi). 1 week later and all the money was gone!

Con artists IMO, my 3 SIM in the other SIM slot didn't charge anything as it should be so it's not my device.
Can you use this on psn?
And the credit lasts for how long...….?
Anyone know when this started, I know it was found 15 he ago but just want to know when deal started
Does this work with my existing SIM. I'm on simply 8p
Anyone know if Virgin support direct carrier billing with google?

This was in a Ulefone Mix, both 4G slots. My data turned off, connected to WiFi. I know something went wrong because it says my charges were £8.49 on the Virgin Mobile website but only £0.49 credit remains.

They are expensive as it is, £2 a day for 200mb data! I only used the phone twice though so it's ridiculous that they can charge me any more - mobile data setting was set to Three on all other times (and data connection was off).

Emailed them and got a call back, even the CEO team are offshore

They refused to believe that they were in the wrong, but after I pushed them they offered to refund the charges as a "goodwill gesture". I was also wrongly charged a service charge when there shouldn't have been one. This was only after I threatened them with a chargeback!

They also refused to give any additional compensation, or to refund the amount back to my payment card and close the account, so I'm stuck with £6.49 of credit that I'm probably never going to use (though it'll probably be £0 when I next insert the SIM anyway). They said my usage for 1 of the days was 3kb, and that's why they charged £2!

Go to Ofcom

They gave me the money back, so I'll leave it for now. If they didn't refund, I would have chargebacked the transaction.

Go to Ofcom, complaints process not followed - no one should be forced to use chargeback that’s why the telco industcomplaints process is Ofcom enforced.
