Virgin Sim Only Contract - 6 month contract, 6 months free!

Edit: £7.50 Quidco now

Introducing the new Virgin Pay Monthly Sim-Only Deal. This is available on a 6 month contract, with 150 minutes and 150 texts all for only £15 per month! This great opportunity is perfect if you.....

Love your phone but hate your tariff - you can now get 150 minutes and 150 texts each month. - are waiting for a new handset to be released and want the flexibility of a short term 6 month contract in the meantime. - are unsure of whether to move from Pay As You Go to a contract agreement and want a short term deal before committing further. At only £15 per month this is the tariff for you. In a nutshell, the Virgin pay monthly sim card is designed to give you more minutes and texts each month for less money than you would pay on Pay-As-You-Go. This coupled with the flexibility of a short-term 6 month contract makes it a perfect solution. Just simply put the card in your existing phone then chat and text away!

_________________________

Just spotted this and thought it was a good offer. You get the whole 6 months free (via cashback) and 150 mins + 150 texts per month, and it's only a 6 month contract!

Also, Quidco pay £36.50 for each completed contract, so technically, a £36.50 profit at the end of 6 months!

EDIT: Hopefully I'm right in assuming that you could purchase a phone from Virgin Mobile (and get another £8 off via Quidco!) to work with this sim. They normally have some cracking deals on refurbished PAYG phones.

I have no idea how anyone has voted this cold, but I certainly think it's a good deal.

I believe if you have VirginMedia you can get 300 x-mins & 300 texts for £10 pm. Sales guy told me that this is not a 12 month contract so can presumably have for just 1 month. Their web-site states:-

You may change or terminate your Virgin Mobile bundle in accordance with the Virgin Mobile "Legal Stuff" for Pay Monthly SIM-only Bundles. Virgin Mobile's Pay As You Go Service Terms and Conditions together with Virgin Mobile's Legal Stuff for Pay Monthly SIM Only Bundles applies. Information correct at 02/07. Calls may be monitored.

Also noticed that any phone you buy from VirginMobile comes with 200 free minutes.

Why go for a SIM only 'cashback' deal ??? There are much better deals out there inc handsets !

i just thought since its a six month contact only... and the fact that that it's from e2save, part of CPW so safe and very prompt at giving cashback...

Hi all,

I have the 300 mins + 300 text for £10 a month (1 month min contract)

if you are already with Virgin Media ring them and ask for this offer they are still doing it as my brother called them last week and he got his sim the next day(you can even keep your current number if you are with virgin mobile already)

Order using quidco & The Phone Spot (another of the CPW Group) and get £50 cashback. Voted hot!!

The easiest way I've ever made £50? Of course.

All it requires is the slightest bit of organisation and posting 2 letters over 6 months.

Who's to say I can't order a huge number of these SIMs and never use them, only claiming my cashback, taking into account that I've never had any problems with any cashback deals before.

Is there a negative somewhere that I'm missing, because if I'm not, this is easy pickings really.

EDIT: I'm new here so I've no idea how to vote HOT/COLD and give rep - any pointers would be appreciated, cos this thread's about to heat up a notch.

"for a valid completed application for a mobile phone. Commission is paid on a per-order basis."

It says application for a mobile phone right ?

I don't know, but ATM, £50 is being tracked on my Quidco from the Phone Spot, and the Virgin SIM is the only order I made from them.

i hope you get the cashback but quidco I know by experience that sometimes initially, it would track but later on it declines it.

can you transfer your number from 02 pay and go?

You need to get your PAC no from them. There's detailed info here

thanks i wasn't sure if you could transfer your number from pay as you go to pay monthly thats all.

This is still available and it's a good offer.

I presume you get the QuidCo cashback on this.

I have just joined Quidco. To recieve their cashback on this offer do i have to order it through them or just click on the link 'go to deal' at the start of this post? If so how do i register this deal with quidco?

There are lots of details regarding Quidco if you search on HD.

Basically, you have to go via Quidco. If you have already been to the site make sure that you clear your cookies as it may not track properly. BTW the first £5 with Quidco is their annual fee (read the stuff in Help & you can find out most stuff you need to know). It's surprising how much you clock up in a year, especially if you need to buy anything a bit pricey:thumbsup:

Sorry shouldn't of jumped the gun. Figured it out. If you go over your limit asre the call and txt charges listed on the sim when it gets sent out to you?

Do you mean if you exceed the texts/minutes allowance?
If yes, I think that you would have to set up a direct debit anyway. You can also choose this option with Virgin's PAYG if you don't want the bother of topping up.

I ordered yesterday and the order is through...50 quids tracked on Quidco

Can I order another one for my wife through MY quidco account again?? Will quidco track for another order??

You sure its £50 quidco for virgin because it shows £8 only

its def £50.. my quidco tracked within 30mins ...

From what I've seen posted here by other people Quidco often don't allow more than 1 transaction. Can only suggest you set up another account for her:thumbsup:

Thx..

MR T - go thru The Phone Spot instead of virgin, thats the mistake your making. Does anybody have info on the call and txt prices if you go over your allowance just before i set up a direct debit???

Oh and another question...So i have sorted who gives you the £50 cashback, but how do you get your 6 months free? I assume virgin? Do you have to post your bills to virgin? I'm going to order asoon as someone knows the call and txt costs, im abit weary about ordering before as you have to set up the direct debit at the time of ordering.

Got my SIM card today, 15ppm for the first 5m then 5p and 10p for SMS 3p to Virgin, after the inculsive bundle of course. Great deal thanks.

Cheers for the prices richie...I assume you have to get your PAC before your order if you want to change numbers?

Strange... I got my Virgin SIM today and registered it on Virginmobile.com and it shows Balance as £5..

I called virgin they said its a PAYG SIM and you need to get in touch with thephonespot because this special offer is run by them...

Anybody else faced this issue?

No, mine says 150 text and 150 mins, I did go through e2save though, just because I've never had any problems with them in the past.

Don't need another mobile phone contract/sim as already got two contracts but for the £50 cashback via Quidco I might order one all the same. :-D

Thanks to OP for spotting this bargain.

Cheekster.

is the 3 months free insurance easy to cancel?

I am planning to use these inclusive minutes to call India..

I tried few 07744 access numbers but none of them is working...anybody has any 24/7 access number which can be used on Virgin Network..

does anyone know if the minutes /texts rollover to the next mointh if not used?

Cheers

I have a virgin contract just now and the minutes roll over

Yep, £10 a month with Blueyonder (Virgin Media) - minutes roll over for one month

which cashback form do we use when it comes to the third month?

you_never_know

I've got the Virgin sim from osps, I have not opened it yet, on the front it says "Pay monthly" but think it might be the same as yours as on the back it says "Your sim card complete with £5 of airtime"

I don't want to open it up if it's the wrong sim card, what did your packaging say on it?
