The sale is supposed to start tomorrow, but I just bought some liverpool - london tickets for £10 each way. (First class tickets seems to be £30 on that route). Good availability too - my Lon-Liv ticket departs Euston 6pm on a Friday - a time that is usually pretty pricey.

Travel between 18 July - 27 August and book by 2nd July.

Edit: Virgin operated routes needless to say....

last time i was on a virgin train one of the staff slammed the door into my finger and chopped off the very end of it

took me an hour for them to get me a plaster from them, no apologies or anything.

that'll teach me to keep the door open for old ladies.

bargain! No card charges. No booking fees.

this is a good deal i just found tickets for £2.50 quids for kids. i dont have any kids but its a good price in case i do find some

I'm confused. The link says "From 30th June to 2nd July" yet people have got tickets at the sale price already? That doesn't make sense. Are these prices actually the sale prices, or are prices set to go down tomorrow?

I think I'll take another look in the morning.

No stations in yorkshire ie leeds.

This is why I love HotUKDeals. Someone buys something that they NEEDED, saves lots of money and then says thanks.

??? really ??? hope for your sake then they have not sold out. Nothing ventured nothing gained ;O)

Great deal, anyone know any good reasonable hotels in London?

Shame it doesn't give additional discount with the two together card. Hot find nonetheless.

do any virgin operated trains run from cardiff?

Anyone tried Poole to London, could not get a deal.

Scumbags! looks like it is only West Coast line for now.
Prices seem to have gone up on East Coast since they took over (or it is at least harder to find the cheap tickets even when booking in advance).

£112 advance single Leeds to London the other day when I looked. Or the best option was an off peak return for £105.

How can a single ticket ever cost that much!!

Original Poster

I don't know if Virgin are including all destinations they serve in this sale. But here is their route map. So that'll be why there are no Cardiff or Poole tickets available....
