Virgin TV GO now allows 4 devices!

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

For years the limit for using virgin tv go has been 2 devices. However now you can register up to 4 devices if you are a full house subscriber. You can also now change a device up to 3 times a month. Still not as good as the recent Sky Go increase to 6 devices but much better than the previous 2 limit.

Is this any good now, I looked at it a few years ago and it was pretty poor?
Still only for full house packages so poor from me. Will have to look to see if sky are so prescriptive about how much you pay dictating how many people can watch.

Any idea how many are concurrent for Virgin?
I tried to use this app last night. Wouldn’t let me register anymore devices and wouldn’t let me watch the football, even though I pay for it and was watching it on TV. I’ve always found it to be pretty poor to be honest. Sorry, not trying to poo poo your deal though - it’s still positive and gets heat from me, just thought I’d share my experience.

I had the same problem. So it’s good if it works, but when it means you can’t log in and watch something as major as the football last night it really sucks!
Yea I agree that they are still lacking behind sky in terms of their app and how many devices can use it. I’ve always found the app to work fine although I’m trying at the moment to access it abroad through a VPN and it appears that virgin tv go is the only app of this like that doesn’t work with a vpn. I give up a little of the convenience of the sky go app for the fact that I can get virgin tv, sky sports hd, bt sport hd and 200mb broadband for £70 a month. Something sky just can’t do.

Yeah I guess that’s a difficult deal to match. Although I don’t even get the option to leave, we can only get Virgin where I live (it’s a new build) so I guess they have me over a barrel! And no refunds issued for not being able to watch the football! Ha.
I have been with VirginMedia for donkeys years and it works out cheaper to include their TV pack in the bundle but I've never used it. I must have 4 of their TV boxes in the loft. It's so user unfriendly, clunky, designed by God knows who that I pay extra for a sky box.

Good luck

If it sky sports you need to watch it through the sky sports app, not the virgin one.
Typical. Just dropped my Full House subscription after 5 years. The app worked pretty well for me, but lacked a lot of channels.

I only have the BT Sport one, which should work on the app. Thanks though
Does the Sky app allow casting to a TV? I installed the virgin app expecting to watch a match that was on Sky sports but i then had to install a Sky app and that wouldnt allow casting.
App has always worked well for me, this is indeed good news

I don’t believe it does. It’s not an option on mine anyway I’m afraid.
Does this mean you can now register 4 sky sports and cinema devices too?
Nice addition altho for the first time the app let me down when attempting to watch the Barcelona game the other day, checked again during the football last night and it was viewable. Bit strange.
Ah right no, just 4 for virgin channels but 6 for watching sky sports channels using my virgin account for some reason?? :/

Yeah. Sky Go recently upped their limit to 6 devices,so I’m guessing they’ve extended that to VM Cinema/Sports customers too.

Would be ideal if it were 6 across the board but it’s so much better than 2.

Noticed this last night, and watched the Spurs win on my phone.
