Warning. Don't do this. They spam spam spam you. Phone calls. Constant emails. Just not worth it for some fairly crappy wine

Untick the boxes in your online account and they stop all of them. Was getting loads of texts, unticked and none, easy.

To unsub from WineBank one email and it was cancelled.

I've done several of these and other wine clubs. As soon as I receive I cancel and ask to opt out of marketing etc quoting gdpr. Never had a single phone call, email or any junk mail. Plus I seem to be able to often use the same email again next time there's a good new customer offer.

A lot of negative reviews which surprises me, each time I have ordered, I haven’t had any issues. Maybe supply can’t cope with the demand when it’s a decent price.

Tried virgin wines, didn’t find the wine that impressive, wait for a Laithwaites offer to come up, far better 🍷

Tried both and anything under £20 a bottle (before discount) has been the equivalent of a £6 supermarket bottle. Essentially, you need about a 60% discount to bring it back to a fair price. The Laithwaites freebies (Dartington glass) are very good quality and worth seeking out.

At the end of the day, even when you get a big discount, unless you want the freebies, you will end up with a mixture of wine not all to your taste. You can easily visit a supermarket and get equivalent quality for the same or lower price and ensure it is all to your taste. This deal provides a larger than normal discount - less than £5 per bottle with a couple of glasses and pourer, so good value for some who want to try it out. (edited)
