Good price, waiting for the Vita version to drop in price.
Oo thank you very much!
With this and SMT coming - I'm in for a 3DS-athon soon.

Good reviews for this game. A bit like reading a book - so not for everyone.

Best 3DS game that isn't a remake, if you're into this sort of genre.
Brilliant game. Try the demo first on Nintendo Play Shop first to ensure you like it. However, what ever you do, do not save the game during a puzzle, it corrupts/deletes the save. Once you keep this is mind, the game should be smooth sailing.

never heard of this game but from reviews sounds excellent, kind of like hotel dusk? might pick up the first one first
I think this game sucks at least the demo does. (I don't think it is like reading a book because I like that).

The demo is free on the 3DS eshop so I would play that first see if you like it (I didn't).
The game is practically a visual novel, just has puzzles (16 in total) to make it a 'game'.

Amazing game if you're into visual novels though.
Question is which version is best this or the Vita version ?

I'd personally say 3DS as the touch controls work much better for the puzzles.
This is amazing!! every 3ds owner should try it... plus at this price! it's given! this game messes with your mind a lot, it's one of the best game i've ever played. I got it on 3DS because of the dual screen interface and because I had 999 (pre-quel) on DS

The game needs to be played as a whole... the demo doesn't make any sense. I mean, it shows you how the game is made in terms of graphics and some puzzles, but the storyline is the main thing in this game. So if you don't mind the reading I suggest you to really give it a better go!

Vita also has touch controls. General consensus seems to say vita has better graphics, but 3ds is easier to take notes on (writing with a stylus is easier than with your finger). For me the fact you can save without fear of wiping your data and having 3 save slots made me go with vita, but it doesn't really matter as both are almost identical.

The 3DS has 2 Screens, This makes the whole experience much better,
Also I would highly recommend to play the DS game : 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors before this one, This is my favourite 3DS Game.
The Vita version still has the save **** up too.
How do you stop this save fiasco then ?

It does? Didn't know that, thanks for the heads up. Do you know if it only effects one save slot, so as long as you cycle you shouldn't lose too much progress?

This game definitely doesn't need two screens like 999 did though. Even then, it was only the very final puzzle that had any real use and impact with what you were seeing on second screen. It's still great on Vita but the price isn't. Up to 24 hours spent on this game so far and still haven't finished it. The plot is ridiculous (in a good way!).

As far as I know it doesn't have the save issue. I haven't had any issues and neither has anybody on ps3trophies or anywhere else I've looked. Probably because it uses the vita's hardware based save system which puts the save on your memory card. Anyway, the Vita version has 3 save slots so just in case you can save across all 3 whereas the 3DS one only has one save.
