That is - board the 35 and buy the family ticket (exact change), take the bus to the park&ride, walk a few minutes and board tram. Faster but a bit more inconvenient. You can also continue on the 35 which is slow, but will take you to the centre eventually.

Remember that on the 35 and other Lothian buses they currently have flyers advertising this ticket. This flyer also works a voucher in some places giving discounts on entry etc., so make sure to check it out.
Great bus/tram service, new and clean. Tram to city is a tenner though !. LOVE EDINBURGH .

It's only a tenner if you don't buy your ticket before boarding. If you buy it at the vending machines it's only a fiver from or to the airport!
Avoid the airport stop and it's alot cheaper! £1.50 adult single
Thinking about visiting Edinburgh via Glasgow this weekend with my parents and sister. Any tips on travel? Thanks

Believe it or not, it's still usually quicker on the bus.

Why we bothered with the stupid tram is still beyond me .....

(PS .... don't think you can use these on the night buses either so if you want to bus it home blootered at 3am, make sure you keep some change for the bus!)

Using public transport?

Train is quickest, MegaBus is cheapest.

Train is the quickest. However the quickest Glasgow to Edinburgh line (via falkirk) has disruptions due to ongoing upgrades on the line (this train terminates at Linlithgow and there is a bus service).

There is still a Glasgow to Edinburgh train though, just make sure you get the one via Airdrie.
