Visor Pro VR headset £5 @ Game.co.uk

Not sure how good the Visor headset is. It's compatible with android phones and iphones that have 4 to 6" screens. Amazon are selling the same headset for a little over £13.

If you do have a phone that is VR compatible and have a good PC. Give Vridge a try. You can play some SteamVR games with it. Basically any that does not require motion controls. Free trial for Vridge is available. If you want to use the software permanently use it. I think it costs like £15.

I dont get it was 99p and now £5???

I combined 2 deals into 1 post. There was a a cardboard VR headset for 99p and this Visor Pro for £5. The cardboard headset jumped in price from 99p to £1.99 after I posted the deal. kay1992 then accused me of lying and trying to get heat. When I came back online and seen that the cardboard headset had indeed jumped to £1.99. I removed the deal from the title and removed the link from my OP.

Omg people need to get a grip ... This person is posting a deal ...yeah it may have changed since posting it, but they have revised the listing. Who cares about hot and cold..... a deals a deal ... Nothing nice to say don't say anything at all simple. If there's a problem pretty sure admin would sort it out the correct way.

Change the lying title. It's showing £1.99 for the cardboard one.

kay199213 h, 55 m ago

It was never 99p. Something tells me op is trying to go hot.

Next time, thoroughly check your deal before posting it.

Are you sure about that? Weather it's voices or something else telling you this. I can confirm they are wrong.

It's obvious the price has changed since I posted (it happens get over it). Even the Google shopping section is still showing the 99p price.

This post just reminded that a while ago someone on here posted a deal about some company was sending people free vr sets (cardboard). I just realised I never received mine

Cardboard VR was 99p at the time of posting. Price changed sometime after the deal was posted. There is noting I could do about the price change other than expiring the deal or removing that part of the deal which I did as soon as I come back online.

Nope you are incorrect. Game do this a lot. Their Google search results usually show one price but once you click and go into their website it shows a different price.

Incorrect about what exactly? I have been posting deals on hear for almost 11 years. I really don't care about heat or cold I only care about helping other users out by posting a deal that I think is good. It's people like you that I don't post as many deals now.

Why waste my time when people like you accuse me of making deals up.

Well I'm tired of seeing people like you posting misleading deals. Lots of users do also lie to get heat. This site/app has gone to shit because of it.

But it was not misleading it was 99p at the time of posting. You said it was never 99p google proved you to be a liar. I just looked at your last deal posted in December 2017 for Metal Gear Solid 5. It's still classed as an active deal you know. You said it's £5.99 but it's actually only £4.99. If we go by your logic this can only mean one thing. YOU'RE A LIAR!

You should have clicked the link instead of going by what Google gave you. There's an entire world beyond Google I promise you.
But I didn't click a Google link. I seen it with my very eyes and even added it to basket at the 99p price until I seen the £5 headset.

I posted the Google pick because that is the only way I can show you that the price was recently 99p. The Google shopping page has simply not updated the price as GAME only just in the last few hours raised the price from 99p to £1.99.

Check out Man Vs VR on YT. His earlier videos on his channel detail how to get a frankensteins VR setup on you PC using google cardboard and various apps

Man Vs VR

I tried this with Fallout 4 and it was a fun experiment and a very minimal cost!
Cheers OP, been looking for some cheap throw away ones. Ignore the gobby little runt.

The XL is 5.5" right? If so then it should work fine. The Pixel has a gyro sensor inside so it's good to go for VR.
I've gone for it too, alongside the £5 remote by the same company. Not sure where to start now! Is there a VR specific store somewhere on Android, have never really looked into it before?

If your android phone is compatible with VR. Search for google cardboard in the app store. Open it up and you will see vr games and applications you can download.

Yup 5.5
I just donno how it will fit haha, but sure it will make sense when it comes.

Do you think this model can be tweaked to work with PC. I've read u can do it with some of the other mobile headsets like the Gear VR.

Either way I just want one to have a proper go at VR and go from there. As I am very interested in Gaming on PC with the Vive but don't want to splash out all that money yet lol. Also waiting for the Pro model to come out

Should be fine. I have a Nokia 5 which is also 5.5" and works fine with Vridge (allows you to use your phone as a VR headset on pc). Only tried it with Desert Bus VR as it is free on Steam.

nicholson101 also mentioned another app called Trinus VR that turns your phone into a PC VR headset. But also allows you to experience VR with none VR games.

My Visor Pro arrived today. It's a very simple setup. You start the Vridge/Trinus app on your phone so you can see steam VR via the phone screen. You then open the door at the front of the headset. Place your phone in and shut the door. You have 2 sliders on the top of the headset. Use these to put the image into focus and that's it really. You can then launch your PC VR games. Only issue I can see with this visor is there is no way you can connect a USB cable to your phone. So you have to rely on wifi to stream the image to the phone.

Ah thanks. Sounds good. I'm not expecting too much for a fiver but it should be a way to find out if vr is for me or not!

Better than paying lots to then not want it lol.
My internet is slow so see how that goes with the pc thing!
Probably should of considered my Mi Max 2 before buying this... well, another one for the cupboard!
