Thanks for the input. Is it same model or similar? Guess, it is not covered under the warranty then
I thought real leather won't peel off so soon

But is it real leather?

Will never buy from Harvey's again. Overpriced and the customer service is non existent. Took over 4 months to receive the sofa we ordered.

Sorry to hijack but who would people buy from with own experiences?

If not Harveys are DFS any good these days?

Had no problems with Harveys or the warranty service they use.

Received my furniture from Harvey's this week......All 3 pieces has something wrong with it. All are going back and a replacement has been ordered. No issues with Customers Services, seems to be dealt with minimum effort.

I have purchased a 3 and a 2 seater recliner sofa from DFS in 2007. It is still going strong. Although at the time we had just bought our first house (very less knowledgeable) and was not aware of the 'DFS Scam' of their never ending sale and ended up paying nearly a grand for each sofa.
As long as you know what the market rates for sofas are - then use them to haggle instore to reduce the price to normal levels. Don't fall for their con of 'sale ending soon or over the weekend'. Sale is always on!

would never buy from these again , got similar one and paid insurance. Ahter 6 months a patch on the back faded awfull. they said this was down to where my husband put his bald head when sitting on it and would not repair. where the bolldy hell are you supposed to put your head if not on the back of a settee.

Must say we bought our three and two fabric sofas from SCS almost four years ago and we have never had a problem at all they are still as strong as ever and with interest free credit we are more than happy so I'd happily recommend SCS x

DFS are rubbish for price and service!
