^^ Except it's silver and £30 cheaper.

This was £250 when I posted it. I meant this is the same apart from the colour. So the reviews should still be good for this one.

That is cheap!!

Good find! I'm looking for a TV for a second living room just now for my PS3. Heat and rep added

these are not true 1080i as the 1080i resolution is1920x1080

A very popular panel size used in mid-range HDTVs is 1366 x 768 and are often advertised as 1080i "compatible" or "HD ready" - however these TVs, while accepting a 1080i signal will scale it down to the panel size of 1366x768

Still, for £250 its a good deal ( unless your sitting up close to the screen )

think you getting confused between 1080i and 1080p mate
as 1920x1080 is 1080p resolution

1366x768p is the resolution of most hd tvds that are not full hd and all hd tvs will display a 1080i signal which is an interlaced signal

^ you also get ghosting when setting your PS3 to 1080i on non-1080i TV's - most likely due to the TV having to scale the image to 768 as you said.

There are 259 in stock! Who made this "EXPIRED"!?!??!?!! Un-expire it!

32" lcd screen for £240 you cant complain with that. Perfectly fine for a bedroom etc. Bargain. Wonder if they can be wall mounted my mate could do with a couple of his pub..

No confusion.
720 = 1280 x 720
1080 = 1920 x 1080

P = Progressive Scan
I = Interlaced

Progressive scan is a method for displaying moving images in which all the lines of each frame are drawn in sequence (1,2,3,etc.). This is in contrast to the interlacing used in traditional television systems where only the odd lines, then the even lines of each frame (each image now called a field) are drawn alternatively (1,3,5 then 2,4,6 etc.).

load of rubbish

sent back 2 and got a refund....although ebuyers customer service is great.....it is a load of junk

lol why are you even posting?

you said 1080i....why were you using the 1080i term instead of 1080p....

I have no idea why u made the last post, an attempt to not look stupid?

No offense like, but its quite normal for a 32 inch LCD to have a res 1366x768, its to do with the size and not particularly related to it being a budget model.

why bother to type at all if you can't give even the briefest of reasons? is the unit held together with duct tape? does the box contain an old black & white with HD ready painted on it?...

if you are already on your keyboard then why not give at least one reason why this is 'rubbish' - it doesn't help anyone ...your clear explanation however may help people make a more informed choice - please!

our ps3 is superb through ours.Much better than our 360 which is through a 42in panasonic plasma.:thumbsup:

What bojangles has posted is correct. I guess why he posted is because the specs list:
1080i High Definition Ready.

He is pointing out that this simply means the 1080i signal (which is 1920*1080) will be downscaled to 1366*768
So the 1080i High Definition Ready can be missleading....(it probably means it can not accept a 1080P signal and downscale, like other HD ready TV's can)

Perhaps if you swapped the consoles over, you will see its the difference between Plasma and LCD, not the difference between the consoles. Good grief. Unless of course you were attempting to be funny, in which case you failed miserably :friends:

LOL. You must have your 360 connected to the panny using chicken wire.
