Vitamix Total Nutrition Center Blender - £384 - Costco In-store

Found 11th Aug 2014
Was in my local Costco today (Watford) and they had a demonstration going on for their Vitamix. What I also noticed is that they had an offer going on, whereby the Vitamix was £384 including VAT. They had the black or red colour (I was told the red colour isn't usually available in Costco) and had PLENTY of stock available. I've not known Costco to be store specific so expect this to be nationwide.

This is the "Total Nutrition Center" model that comes with a 7-year warranty as standard. It's commercial grade that is usually used in many large chains with their own logo on the front.

THIS IS THE CHEAPEST PRICE IN THE UK!

*NOTE* You obviously need to be a member to take advantage of this offer and it's not available on their website.

£384 for a blender? Seems way overpriced

Good price!

@yespleasesire This isn't your typical blender, it's widely regarded as the best blender available.

@DVS_Dee You seem to be the only person who thinks so! Not sure why all the cold votes, but I'd love someone to find it cheaper. Obviously this is one of those political cold votes for either the product or the shop

Such a shame, if costco had a website etc I'd have bought this in a flash.... Been looking for a good deal on it.

Voted Hot anyway....

Something like this however will never get hot votes.... (Aldi do a blender for £15)

If your after one of these but don't have the budget then the Nutribullets very adequate and is about £70-£100 depending on where bought from... Anything else is pants (Depending on what your using it for of course)

@you_gotta_be_kidding and there was me thinking this site is about deals for a product and this is the cheapest price you'll find this blender. There's no point comparing this to a £15 blender you can get from Aldi and voting cold as a result lol

I beg to differ!

If only..... This blender is worth every penny at this price

I have one of these and it's definitely more than just a 'blender'
Worth every penny I paid for it years ago from Costco.
See some of it's functions below:

bargain at this price. bought one a couple of years ago and believe not much else comes close. the motor is so powerful that it makes hot soups just through kinetic energy alone. it can also make ice cream along with plenty of other things. it may be expensive but it's an investment which is why they come with a 10 year guarantee

I bought one recently and it's great.

There was a really good deal on at lakeland a few weeks ago, the aspire was selling for £319. I got the pro 300 for £399

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/20-off-juicers-blenders-lakeland-vitamix-from-319-99-1953159

Ps this is much better than the nutribullet, parents and brother have it and does not compare to the smoothness

I don't doubt this is the best price for this product. However the value is a problem for me.
The price is too much for the sum of it parts compared to upgrading from a cheap blender.

Commercial grade products does not necessitate a uplift in price by a factor of 10 if you consider say a £38 blender. It probably is the dogs danglies but even Apple doesn't mark up that much.

Dear hukd, this is more than 10 quid so this is automatically cold.

Comical really.

Think TGI's use this for their cocktails.

Good price!

no its not

it will be the most expensive item sitting at the back of your kitchen units{we all have something we thought we could not do without)

It is sad people cannot see the benefits

Lots of vegans and raw foodies rely on equipment like this. If it's something you've no use for why bother commenting?
I've got a Magimix high speed blender. It's used every day, several times a day. It's the best I could afford when I bought it and it's brilliant but if I knew anyone with a Costco account I'd buy one of these in a heartbeat. Great machine!

I use my blender twice a day every day, standard blenders can't cope with that amount of usage.

Certainly is, I've gone through a lot of blenders, there's 3 in my kitchen at the moment. If i'd just bought a vitamix or blendtec 10 years ago i'm sure it'll still be working fine and would have cost less than the 10 - 20 cheaper blenders i've had.

This deal going so cold actually saddens me, as there's hundreds of people out there that would jump at a heartbeat to be able to purchase one of these at this price - but will never see this

I didn't think it would be my job to try and 'sell' this thing to the hukd community so that they can see whether it's good value for money or not, I just thought hot and cold votes are dependent on whether it's a good price for that product only.

This isn't A deal for the average person as they'll be comparing it to the £30 blenders that you can buy on the high street.
Still a good deal imo.

I have been watching the Vitamix 5200 for more than one year.
This price is good.
There was another online deal from Costco with an extra dry container 2 months before, around £450.
I will continue to wait for a better deal.

I got an ENPEE, it does everything the Vitamix does for half the price.

Its got the same motor as the vitamix and works in the same way.

I used 'smoothiesaver' as the vouchercode on their website to save an extra £10.

I'm delighted with mine.

This normally goes for £459. This is a great price for this blender. Unfortunately most people wont realise how amazing it is and what it can do but thanks for posting.

Is it still at this price? Are they selling the 750 too?

If the Vitamix is reduced again in Costco can you please post it on HUKD?
