Thor scarts are well made and offer great performance. I think I paid around £15 for a 1.5 mtr lead a few years ago.

Still at that price here:

Good lead for £1 from Poundland, no different to my expensive £15 lead (if you leave it in a fixed position).

Really?? Is there actually any difference?? I got one for about 15 quid years ago and its no different to my cheap ****** ones.

i think there is a difference as th signal is analogue and is prone to interference - somebody with knowledge may shed some more light onto this - or google may be of use

Yeah that is the key. You need a cable that allows the signal to pass with the least interference. Any degradation will corrupt the picture to a greater or lesser extent. Digital has just to transmit a series of 1's and 0's and if they aren't received it will be obvious!

The Thor works well and also maintains a good contact with the scart socket, which is important and at £15 delivered it's a pretty good buy and looks kinda funky too.

Spending more leads to diminishing returns and spending less can be a bit of a gamble. Life's too short to ars*e about so I'd recommend the Thor and then you can fit it and forget it:thumbsup:
