    Don't understand the idea of shoes made of recyclable materials.. if they fall apart after two years, what do I do with them? Put to a bin for plastic? No, landfill. So this plastic instead of being reused again, ends up in landfill (just 2 years later).

    You send them back to Vivo and they recycle them into new shoes, which you can then buy at a discount - they even have a dedicated website for them called Revivo.

    These look ideal for doing deadlifts.

    I've been wearing Vivo Barefoot stuff for my gym work for about two years now, as you say, they're great for deadlifts if you like to lift in converse or whatever, only with the benefit of much wider toebox.
