Vodafone 12 month Red Plan, 3GB, Unlimited Mins and Texts £11PM (£2PM after cashback) 2 months (£108 cash back by redemption) @ Fonehouse

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Vodafone 12 months, 3GB unlimited mins and txts. £108 cash back by redemption, based on cash back paying this is £2 per month. Also go through Quidco for a £3.50 cash back

£11 per month, £132 for contract duration,

Negatives - Vodafone customer service doesn’t get good feedback, this is redemption so you have to claim directly with Fonehouse in months 3, 5, 7, 9 & 12.

Positives - Providing cash back is paid, this is £2 per month for a 12 month contract. For me this is worth the risk.

If everything works out its £1.70 a month?!!
How on earth do they make any money.
Are people really that forgetful that they dont send the claims in. Back in the day you had to send vouchers off then bank the cheques they hopefully sent you but nowadays its 10x easier.
This is going cold while the price is £2 per month? What is going on with some people?

Perhaps instead of £108 cash back in title, you should add £2 per month after cashback, it seems to me some really lack basic maths skills.

I never use more than 2GB data (I use mostly wifi) so this deal would have been perfect for me but just signed a contract with O2 not long ago. Voted hot!

£2 a month, its not cold lol
Hot. Can't understand the logic on the votes sometimes. I've found an effective £2.50 cashback deal which includes a 2019 Huawei P Smart (on o2, 3GB & 24m) but can't be arsed posting it because I know it'll go cold straight away.

Would have gone for this but signed up for 12 months with Sky Mobile, who use O2 and signal is not great at times for me. Heat.

Hot from me. Currently on 20 GB deal from them @ 7£ PM after cashback and can't really complain.

Was not very clear in title this is £2 per month, in the meantime title was changed. However, still no excuses to those who voted cold, clearly they can't read.

What's bad with O2? I've changed from Virgin to O2 as the best signal I get is with O2. Downgraded the plan and paid more just to get rid of Virgin. I guess it depends of the signal, but for me O2 is by far the best. The only complaint I have is they do not have many good deals on SIM only, while the rest have plenty.

heard o2 speeds are slow, i have used giffgaff which runs on o2 before and the internet speeds were slow in my past experience. maybe, they are better now.

I guess is down to location. I used O2 until about 6-7 years ago, when internet browsing via the phone was not as common as now. The signal on the phone was excellent for me. I changed to 3, Vodafone, EE and Virgin, as all had better deals, the signal was not good at all so now I'm back since a year ago to O2 and is much better than others for me.

You've mentioned O2 via Giffgaff. I had both, EE and Virgin. Virgin was on EE network, and was absolutely rubbish in comparison to EE. I guess the 'main players' still have the best signal.
Cracking deal. Had Vodafone 2 years. Great speeds and in fairness, great customer service when I needed them
£9 a month for unlimited data
How on earth do they make any money.

They are betting that most people won't jump through the hoops to actually claim all of the cash back.

.....& 10gb deal for £5 pm ( after cashback)
You still pay £11 a month though. That’s rubbish for 3gb

Yes, you pay £11, but you'll have £108 more in your pocket.

Limited to 2mbps though. The unlimited speed one is £15 a month.

This is amazing - £2.50pm (£60 total) for a £100+ phone and 24m of 3gb data! If tcb pay out that brings the cost down to ~£20! Hukd fails when it comes to recognising deals like this.

Incredible deal
Anyone claimed cashback from Fonehouse before? Are they reliable?
Glad to see this picking up on heat, was -40 when I voted hot on it. People just follow the crowd and the crowd does not read...
What's the specifics about claiming the cashback so one can be sure he gets it 100% ? Sorry if that's a silly question..

It's a great deal but your thinking here is why I've also been hesitating too. If you click the cashback link it says you have to claim the cashback in instalments every few months. For some reason I suspect that may end up being a pain in the arse.

If it works and is hassle free then obviously it's well worth it.

Got a deal for my gf and she's with Fonehouse on EE and she just claimed her first cashback and no issues there, took around 4 weeks to reach her account.

Process is quite easy, just depends on which 3rd party you choose:
How this works on Fonehouse, on sim only 12 months contract - you have to upload bill, 3,5,7, 9 and 12.
First, you have to download the right bill for your claim from your mobile provider as pdf. If this is your first cashback then bill number 3,
You create an account on Fonrhouse website, on your account page below you have a button saying calaim cashback (in red so you won't miss it) and you fill the details in (DOB, mobile number and date of your bill) then you upload your bill number 3 download earlier.
You press submit and job done, you will get an confirmation email from then saying that your cashback been accepted (or not) and then you wait for your cash, straight into your bank account.
Hope this helps for some that never done it.

have you claimed cashback with fonehouse before? if you claim month 12 and that bill does not get issued until mid month say or towards the end of the month, and you close your account bang on after 12 months, could you lose that last cashback claim as someone said it takes 4 weeks for the money from a claim to come through so it would come through after you have closed your account.

this is what it states on their cashback claim blog

"You won’t be eligible to cashback if your pay monthly contract has been canceled. You must be paying your monthly bills to receive payment."

God, I remember having a contract with Vodafone for £40! And only getting 3GB per month
