Looks like a great deal for the 20GB Sim only 12 month contract from Vodafone.

Unltd minutes (UK & EU roaming)
Unltd texts (UK & EU roaming)
20GB UK data (incl. tethering)
4GB EU Roaming data
12 months free Spotify, Now TV or Sky Sports Mobile

Reduced from £37 per month to £22.20 per month, however mobiles.co.uk are also doing £140 redemption cashback. This reduces the effective cost to £10.50 per month. If you're already paying for Spotify at £9.99 per month then this is surely a no-brainer!

£5 Quidco for a little bonus too!

No, I think they dropped Netflix a couple of months ago.

If you're within 14 days you could cancel the contract then sign up for this one.
After 12 months of Vodafone I wouldn't use them if they were free.

4GB EU Roaming data
12 months free Spotify, Now TV or Sky Sports Mobile

I agree the deal is very good but considering I'm probably going to buy the iphone 7 sim free, it would be pretty silly to pay all that money for a decent phone but be frustrated with poor reception

My girlfriend is on Vodafone, and I have a mobile broadband SIM on Vodafone - we live in London and we get 4G everywhere. Certainly no worse/better than other providers. My one issue with Vodafone is that if you go out of large urban areas then you might only get 2G whereas on my EE phone SIM, I'll tend to get 4G/3G everywhere and very very very rarely will see 2G.
Vodafone is getting better though - they're investing heavily in their 4G network.

Yeah I agree. 90% of the time it would probably be fine. Vodafone used to be the market leader back in the day. I remember around 2000-2003 with Vodafone Live etc and David Beckham advertising.

They have the facility on their webshite to apply to return your current order so I've done that. It's only 2 days since O place the order for the 1st one and the thing has never been opened so all should be well, fingers crossed!
****. Did the 8GB deal for £9.50 couple months ago.
Couple of questions...

Why does it say "free handset"?

and if I changed my phone halfway through the contract and needed a different size sim could I request it from Vodafone without affecting the cash acknowledge?
Stupid question but does streaming Spotify count towards your data allowance?

And if so, how much bandwidth does it use - say per hour?

Anyone know the best, easiest and quickest way to port my vodafone pay monthly number to this?
Vodafone say i can move to payg first (then back to pay monthly) but that won't happen until 30 days are up. I'm thinking of moving to a different network payg sim then to this, but unsure if I need to top up first before I can request a PAC.

I went onto voda after 10years with o2, worst thing ever.. They are as much use as a one legged man in an **** kicking contest! Overcharged and nobody seems to know why plus all my data keeps on disappearing.. If I had the chance to get off it, I would faster than sh*t off a shovel!

I took out two sim only contracts, one for an iPhone and the other for an android. Reception is terrible, dropped calls, **** customer service

I just had to do the same earlier this week with Skodafone, I'm not sure when I run out of credit, so to speak! oO
I just went for the EE deal, which went hot yesterday, good deal, great network!
Can anyone confirm that you can get "12 months free Spotify, Now TV or Sky Sports Mobile" if you buy from mobiles.co.uk please? its not very clear as they don't mention it.

If you buy direct from Vodafone then you get 12 months free Spotify, Now TV or Sky Sports Mobile.
AFAIK yes you do get the entertainment pack. Its linked to the 'Red Value' contracts.

I went for this but got refused the credit check by Vodafone.Gonna give them a call see if I can get round it,really want this deal
I'm amazed this isn't hotter. I'm switching for the free Spotify

OP doesn't need to 'back this up'. As has been mentioned in this thread a couple of times, if you look at the plan on the vodafone website it is included.

50 degrees for this is crazy. This is the best mobile deal of the year so far if your willing to put up with the redemption hassle. Swapping myself and mrs over to this straight away
Today i received my new vodafone number. When i looked on Vodafone app they charge me for 37 pounds (no discount on my package )

When did you order? The change in price for the plan wasn't officially until the 29th, i think mobiles.co.uk were a bit early updating the info on their website so it may take a few calls to Vodafone to sort it out if you managed to purchase it before then. If worst comes to worse it might be a case of cancelling and re-ordering.

I have the 8gb Red Value plan from an earlier deal and can confirm that it comes with free Spotify. Mobiles.co.uk did mess up my contract though - they never set me up correctly with Voda so I couldn't register for Spotify. I moaned so mobiles sent me a cheque equivalent to 2 free months.

My SIM is currently solely used in a MiFi and I'll be using it when I go abroad later this month.
Do you only received a posted bill, or do you get an email bill you can then send them online for redemption?

I'm out of the country a fair bit and may not be around to scan in a bill that's been posted to me, if I can get a bill on email then send it in via their website it's perfect thanks

Yes, you can download a PDF bill from the Vodafone website then upload it to the mobiles.co.uk site.
