Not sure why the same deal by e2save is cold but just to explain:
- Sim only contract - 8GB / unlimited texts / unlimited minutes
- Red Entertainment - your choice of entertainment for 12 months - Spotify Premium or NowTV Entertainment or Sky Sports TV mobile
- second best UK coverage (according to a study by RootMetrics)
- pay monthly £18 (£216/year), get £96 cashback after redemption plus possible £10 via Quidco/TopCashBack -> 216-96=120-10=£110
- Technically for the cost of £9.17/month get Spotify premium (normally £9.99); then SIM only contract 8GB/unlimited texts/minutes (12 months) is FREE

Anyone know if vodafone directly able to match this deal?
Already with Vodafone - can I take this deal and keep my number?

Yes but you will have to port your number out to a payg sim on another network and then back again. Three or Asda are the best sims to use
The e2save deal was cold because it didn't mention the entertainment pack. It's not clear on the website.

Yeah the Mrs renewed her sim only contract to this deal on Friday, minus the £10 cashbook.
Got this last year as a second line. Also applied an extra 30% discount for by adding Vodafone Advantage Scheme

It's available to anyone on the Vodafone site (until 31/1/19) but there won't be any redemption cashback - 45 quid quidco instead. If you aren't the organised type, probably the preferable deal...

Ok great, thanks
I had the 20GB version of this deal through Mobiles.co.uk. The 12 months ended in August but I let it run on for a couple of months at full whack before finally moving onto GiffGaff at as a stop gap until my next 12 monther.

Strange thing is I made the move to GG in November but my Spotify subscription is still coming up as Premium. I would have taken out another Mobiles/E2Save redemption deal but no point at the moment while I am getting the Spotify Premium for free.
How do you know it's red entertainment deal?

What's the vas?
FYI: Been on similar Vodafone Red Entertainment deals via e2save for last 2 contracts. Great value with NowTV Entertainment as part of the deal at net cost of c£10/m this year for my 16GB/unlimited/unlimited.
Great value and Carphone Warehouse companies - eg 2esave/Mobiles.co.uk - have been reliable payers of the cashback, only hassles being (a) doing the claims - easy to put in diary for the whole year (b) banking the cashback cheques when they come through.
Shall be looking for a deal like this one mid year when current 12m deal ends, shame the data seems to be falling

Agreed on the data falling.
I have 3 vodafone renewals due, and requested my PAC codes.
Got a callback from them offering 16GB + entertainment pack for £19.20.
Costs a little bit more, but double the data..

Also got offered 40GB rolling contracts by virgin which I've decided to switch to.

Same happened to my Mrs Spotify account when she left at the end of the 12 month Red Entertainment contract. She ported out and back in on new contract without entertainment. Messaged them a few times as given Vodafones penchant for screwing things up we were concerned they were totting up a bill for Spotify premium somewhere. But were assured that was not the case.

Eventually Spotify dropped off ~four months later, at the most inconvenient time as we were abroad. Had to wait till we got back to link to the other entertainment account in the family we'd planned to use for her spotify.
Being already with Vodafone, they offered 8gb with unl text and mins and spotify premium on a simo deal for £16.80 plus 3 months free so £12.60 per month average over 12 months.

Cheers ... that's interesting to know. I wouldn't want to take out a "non-Spotify" 12 month deal only to find my original Spotify drops off half way through. I think I will carry on month-to-month until it dies and then look for another deal like this, hopefully nearer to the 16GB they offered before xmas.
can you use your existing spotify account?
Was this £12 few weeks ago?
Has anyone been able to get this deal from Vodafone with VAS on top?

can you use your existing spotify account?

I'm quite certain you can. It should ask you to log in to spotify when redeeming
Shame that you can't seem to use it to partially pay for a Spotify family account.
Thanks OP! just ordered! as EE failed again to offer something decent for me to stay with them, oh well Vodafone will take my money instead
Hot for me!
What are peoples experience with the Vodafone Coverage? Ive only been with them since December. Moved from 3.

So far im very impressed
Coming up as £20 per month before cash back now...

You're looking at the wrong tariff, 8GB still the same.
Requested a free PAYG SIM from Vodafone website (to check coverage) as the Vodafone store in Elgin doesn't hand out free ones
Edited by: "Mr_Anderson" 23rd Jan
The tariffs change frequently with this deal so keep an eye out.
The issue i have is that i left the 20GB for 11.75 deal via e2save in October.
Tried to start a new Voda contract several times via e2save and mobiles.co.uk and each time it fails credit checks at Voda.
No reason given except e2save think there is a'cooling off' period before i am allowed to let them take my money again.
Wife had exactly the same too.
Now we have gone to Virgin and EE for a year, stuff em.

Yes, can't remeber how it works but it does.

Got this today after asking for my pac code. I was on previously 20GB with spotify via mobiles.co.uk for £12pm after redemption but couldn't be bothered with porting numbers and sorting out spotify again for my son.

The new contract below will be £16.66pm over 12 months

"Recap: You have chosen the 12mth SIMO Hero Unlmin 25GB Red Entertainment Plan for £20.00pm with a credit of £40.00 applied for the first 2 months"
