Great deal if you are happy to spend 2 minutes every couple of months uploading a copy of your bill to receive the cheque. I'm on my 4th contract with mobiles.co.uk and no issues with redemption.

Sim only contract - 25GB with unlimited texts & unlimited minutes. Red Entertainment - your choice of entertainment for 12 months - Spotify Premium or NowTV Entertainment or Sky Sports TV mobile. £25 if you go with Vodafone directly.

If you're already with Vodafone you can port your number out and back in again. The best sim is the Three 123 free sim.

Expecting this to go cold because of the redemption part but hoping this will reach people who are after a good Spotify deal like me.

I had exactly same issue for a previous deal just like this. I ordered a free sim from Asda (took about 10 days to arrive or you can buy in store for 50p if you need it urgently). Ported to that number from Voda, then ported back. Took a couple days in total but worth it for the savings and just received my first cheque from Mobiles.co.uk. Already had Spotify so just had to go through the link sent in the text from Vodafone to log back in to my account. Hope it helps.

If you're already with Vodafone, go to redemptions directly. I got 40gb, Spotify premium and all calls and texts for £22

I tried at the end of the last deal and they would not do anything.

My daughter ran over her allowance last month (16Gb) and they wanted me to switch to a £35/20Gb plan!

Ok will try, thanks. Contract out fairly soon. Presumably it was a call back from redemption? How long was the contract?

Yes, straight from Vodafone. Every few months you just download the relevant month's bill and upload it on to mobiles.co.uk to get the cashback

I believe that discount is only available if you go direct with Vodafone and not via mobiles.co.uk.

I got a text saying sorry you're leaving, call this number etc etc 0808 1645 456. I called it, told them that the guy before wouldn't give me what I wanted, told him I wanted half price sim only and he said he could do that. Ended up with three free months too as got my wife a great new deal at the same time. (S8 free, 16gb data £32 a month over 2 years)

12 months. Give them your notice of 30 days. Don't accept anything they offer. Then call that number above...

I just got off instant chat with Voda. The package is already dicounted so no more discounts

No, the Bills always come from Voda. You have to actually buy the contract from Voda to use the VEAD.
And in this case the Red big data bundles are already discounted and no eligible for further discounts.
I got the £12 after redemption deal for Vodafone 20gb last night. Pay £2.50 a month for a Spotify family account = £14.50 a month.
So 5gb extra data for £1.50 month is decent!

Thanks for the information, just to make sure I understand what you've said you were on Vodafone, ported out and back in again so you're now back on Vodafone with your original number? How long did the process take from giving the PAC to Asda to having your contract active with Vodafone?

Vodafone claimed I couldn't port out and back although I was fairly sure they were lying about it. I've had no luck with Vodafone retentions at all who wouldn't budge a penny although I generally don't have luck with them. I had the 25GB package with Spotify last year for £18, it's annoying I can't get that again although I see even if they did allow VEA on this tariff they've halved the discount from 30% to 15%.

Yes, exactly. So I was with Vodafone direct paying about £16 a month for their unltd mins, texts and (I think) 8GB data. I then left as retentions couldn't offer anything decent so I went to a deal with mobiles.co.uk for this same 25gb package.

I had the asda sim and ported to that. Once my number was ported over to the asda sim, I then ported back to the new Voda package. In total it took a couple days so hardly any down time. It's a little tedious but like I said, a deal like this saves a small fortune as long as you dedicate yourself to uploading the correct bills and then paying in the cheque when it arrives. Hope it helps.
does this really include "Spotify Premium/NowTV Ent/Sky Sports".. as it doesn't mention it when I click through?

Yes it does. If you click on the info it states "FBV18 M Vodafone 4G Red Entertainment Sim Only £25 25GB 12m FBV18". If you look on the Vodafone site under that tariff it says about Spotify etc. I believe you'll get sent a link from Vodafone to choose which entertainment package you want. Hope that makes sense

As Smithy says, yes it does. I have the exact same deal through mobiles and it is indeed included.

That's a big help, thanks very much - I was thinking I'd need to port out, wait a month then port back so a few days to do it all instead is much better. As you say it's a small amount of hassle for a fairly substantial saving and even in the worst case where I didn't get any cashback I'm still no worse off than with Vodafone.

John
Great deal but wouldn't trust Vodafone to organise a party in a brewery. The screw u left right and centre by incorrect billing.
Does anyone know if you can use the Spotify Premium on the Sonos app
Thank you everyone for the info especially op, will be on the phone to vodafone in the morning.
Never been with Vodaphone, and my current cashback deals about to end - so this could be worth a try,

Question - Do they (Vodaphone) cap signal strength and data speeds when you go through a third party (Mobiles.co.uk)? EE do this, it was confirmed to me instore and also when i rang up.
