Got a call today from the retentions when I asked for my PAC code.

He's offered the 12 month 50GB sim only with unlimited text and mins for £25.20 a month. This includes the entertainment pack which gives you free Spotify Premium, Sky Sports Mobile or Now TV. Vodafone also offered 2 months free.

The original price of the contract is £42. This works out to 40% off and with the 2 months free brings the price down to £21 A MONTH! .

Side note the 50GB deal is on offer on Vodafone at the moment for £30 a month on their website until the 3rd of April. This will then go back to the original contract of 40GB for £42 a month.

Typing to fast. Thank you
It's a good deal in terms of data, add-ons and price, but my past experience of Vodafone's network, rip-off roaming charges and appalling customer service means I will never be a customer of theirs again. Not vote.
Good one, works out to be £21 a month.
Great roaming and lovely customer service. Long live Vodafone
Such a shame Vodafone have terrible customer service. As locally i find their signal second to none. When theres a problem with a local mast, they are always repaired within hours.
To balance things up been with Vodafone for years with no trouble. I have this contract and it's great as I work away every week but can still watch sport, YouTube etc whilst tethering to my tablet. I pay £24.60pm so voted hot

Do you need 50 GB?
My contracts up in a week. I called a couple of days ago and they offered me 25gb with rntertainment package for £25 with two months free. That still works out more than im paying with advabtage scheme. Might see if they offer this.
Why is this cold? This is effectively 50gb for £21 on Vodafone. Heat from me.

Try doing what I did. I just straight up asked for my PAC code. Cancellations did offer me a deal but I said no thanks. Then a day later I got a call from the retentions team who wanted to update me on my PAC code and they said they can offer a better deal than the cancellations team. I still did try getting the video pass for unlimited YouTube ect added on but they said they couldn't do that. This is the best they could offer me at the time.
My contract end on 24th of April. I rang up asking for this deal and I got told that they can't do this deal.
Good deal op.. Pls cam you explain what do u mean by videopass for unltd YouTube? Thanks

Wait until its closer to your contract ending. Then ask for you PAC code. Don't take the offer from cancellations. A different retentions team will then phone you up later and you can get great deals with them.

yes it includes the entertainment pack of your choice

a quick google search will explain in detail what the video pass is.... but in short you can use the YouTube app without it taking data off your allowence. Its about £7 a month to add this.

So I can get skysports to use on the skysports app in the 50gb for £25.40?

I'm annoyed as I was offered 40gb for £29.40 with skysports as my entertainment package

In my experience retention deals are a complete lottery. These sorts of posts are akin to "10p reduced sandwiches in my local Tesco, closes in an hour ..one left!"
Just got this deal, so thanks.
But just found out this is probably going to increase by around £1-£2 due to RPI increase in April.

I got 20gb for 16 quid + 2 free months
Will this work for sharing WiFi in a house? Broadband rubbish in my area so thought could use this?
