2mbps - 5G - lol defeats the object of 5G, even 4G and even 3G

They shouldn't be able to say unlimited whilst it's completely hobbled by restriction to 2mbps. Slower than 3G HSPA+

Ah the deal is for 10mbps still at basement low end 4G speeds. It's shoddy from Vodafone

that's great if you can get 5g in your town or city i have a S20 ULTRA thats 5G we don't have 5G in my city
Even if Vodafone gave me this free wouldn’t take it
Awful speed restriction ruins the offer for me
Can you explain what this would mean for a out of town user who just wants an unlimited sim that can give a reasonable performance . I currently have sky wifi - does not work in 50% of my house so need to use my data on my phone - does it mean not a good signal ??
Wtf?! 2mbps! On 5G!?

Good luck getting that much with Vodafone

Maybe its because all the masts have burnt down so dropped back to 3g.

You need WiFi boosters, and / or powerline adapters.

2Mbps speed cap is like going back to early 2000’s in Broadband internet speed. Don’t bother.
Thanks mr krabs but I’ve spent loads and it just doesn’t do it but my EE data works everywhere just haven’t got enough .

Ok great thanks I understand that
Pathetic!!! that is not 5G its 2g speeds. I get 60mbs on my 4g

LOL this is their new tactic to lure more customers in. The customers who are not aware what speed this package provides but states 5G next to it lol

What's unlimited 4G at circa 120Mbps?

You need a mesh wifi system, not cheap, but works. Amplifi or google WiFi.
Thanks your right very expensive !
Had nothing but issues with cashback claims on the last contract I took out with these. Currently had my last cashback claim rejected twice and now they are saying it's out of the 60 day claim period so can't claim. I for one won't be using them again.
This is borderline misleading advertising. 5G contract with a 2 MB cap. Can only be some form of entrapment contract
for people who have no idea. Stone Cold ❄

Never had a problem with mobile.co.uk cashback paying out. For comparison on Vodafone properly unlimited tariff in a 4g area I get 50mbps+ I agree Vodafone are misleading people with the headline of unlimited 5g purely a marketing thing to make it price look good and hope people don't realise there's a speed cap.

Could easily get cheaper mesh systems that those.

Mesh systems suck compared to a couple of ethernet or powerline connected WiFi routers

Of course hardwire is better.

I’d imagine like most people hardwiring isn’t an option, therefore mesh is an excellent choice and the closest you’ll get to hardwire.
Does Vodafone think people are fools? How do they get ideas like this? I really cannot figure it out. So 5G and capped at 2MBps. I would call that a 3G, HSPA+ or an extremely slow speed 4G. Ridiculous.
40452302-QjZuj.jpgIsn't this a better deal? Can't see there is any restriction?
The thread title is incorrect - the speed cap is "2Mbps" not "2MB/S" as there are 8 bits in a byte the actual speed will be 1/8th of that posted.

Unbelievable but they know some people don't pay attention and will be caught out.
