OK, that's a slightly confusing title - I must admit.

Basically, Vodafone have a tariff (Best for Texter - 18 months) which is currently on offer at £30 per month for 18 months (reduced from the store price of £35 per month). Furthermore, you get half price line rental for the first three months at £15 per month.

This tariff offers 600 any time, any network UK voice minutes and unlimited text messages every month - not a bad price at all for such a huge amount of minutes and texts.

When you select the tariff to purchase, you are presented with a range of phones to choose from - many of them being FREE. On this tariff, these include: The Samsung U900 Soul (in Silver or Pink), Samsung Steel, Sony Ericsson C902 (in Black or Red), LG Secret, Samsung Tocco, Motorola U9 (with free case OR free bottle of pink champagne), Sony Ericsson W910i Havana Gold (and free speaker), Samsung F490, Motorola V9, Nokia 6110 , Samsung G800, Nokia 6300 and many, many others.

You can receive a FREE Jabra Bluetooth Headset by entering the code "VODABLUE1" into the basket.

If you purchase via QuidCo then you will earn a whopping £130 in cashback from them, too.

**OOH. ANOTHER ADDITION**

QuidCo are offering an extra £10 in cashback (so £140) to the first 100 people to take out a valid Vodafone contract via QuidCo and post in the comments of their blog!!

Can't get VODABLUE to work

Sorry, try "vodablue1"

does anyone know if vodafone do a 'refer a friend' scheme?

Have had a search around and can't find anything (so suspect I've answered my own question) - let me know if anyone knows to the contrary.

Thanks
Pete

I hadn't mentioned one?

Cheers for the heads up. Got it all to work eventually. Due for an upgrade anyway so used it as an excuse. Just waiting for quidco confirmation, all in all excellent. :-D

It seems ever since quidco went up to £130 the phone shop went down :x been trying to get on now all morning, must be some changes in the packages appearing

if you don't need the minutes, theres unlimited texts for £15 a month, with a few free phones too!

Added the first two posts, including information on how to find this deal (as direct linking to vodafone from a HUKD deal isn't possible).

Enjoy.

Ah, another addition!!

quidco.com/blo…183

£130 - Quidco
£15 x 3 = £45 (First Three Months)
£30 x 15 = £450 (Next 15 Months)

Total Contract: £450 + £45 = £495
Mins Quidco = £495 - £130 = £365

Contract after Quidco: £365/18 = £20.28 / Month

£20 / Month for 600 Minutes & Unlimited Text + High End Phone!
Awesome Deal I should say! + £10 for first 100 customers,
making it £19.50/Month!

Not the best offer, but for people who like Vodafone, who need lot of texts... and high end mobile. This is the best deal! Very tempting.... !! :-D !! Hoooooooootttttttt !!

Cheers

c902 def!

I'm not biased either.

Although the battery life on Sony Ericssons is much superior to Samsungs, the MP3 player is fairly good and the cameras are always excellent.

ordered Mine, c902
missed this though (transaction has to take place after the blog post)
so i wont get my £10

WARNING

I did a similar deal at Xmas and am still waiting for Quidco 7 months later, Vodafone are liars telling Quidco i have canceled my contract, but just yesterday managed to change my tarrif.

The customer service is awful, oh and not forget they randomly started charging me £5 a month for a TV package i never signed up for.

VOTED COLD due to network, still they are not quite as bad as 3.

Amazing deal, for new customers anyway.

It does look complicated, but it really isn't heat

Hot deals! Nice found
Rep added

If you can do cashback deals there are better offers.
I just purchased an LG Prada with 700 minutes and 250 texts on a 12 month contract from Phones 4u with 10 months free line rental. Plus £60 Quidco.

Total Cost Of Ownership (TCO):
(12 * £40 ) - (10 * £40) - £60 = £20

That is £20 for a phone and a whole years contract which means it costs just £1.67 a month!

You have to be organised and study the cachback conditions but it works out to less than 10% of the cost of these phones.

I would get it but I'm still in my Orange contract til April 09.

Surely Orange Dophin £35 is better value, 600 mins, u/l txts and u/l mobile browsing for £30 (with high end phone i.e c902). I dare say I will be told 'Don't forget £130 Quidco', You must remember this is not guaranteed and the chance is there that you won't get paid out.

For me it's not such a great deal, even with the huge Quidco.

I will never enter an 18 month contract.

To put it in perspective, my 12 month contract with 02 with my free N95 is gonna cost me £80 after cashback (I know it's not guaranteed, but I've always received it) and Quidco.

Of course, that's true. I'm a big supporter of cashback deals. This is a good deal for those who don't want a cashback offer though.

Is that not pretty much exactly the same deal, but without the QuidCo or half-price rate for the first three months??

EDIT: I suppose it depends on whether you want mobile internet browsing or not...

Yes I think Vodafone do £50 for refer a friend but I think you have to do it over the phone so you would miss out on the £130 Quidco

I'm on this plan with Orange. I get the texts and mins, but not unlimated browsing... ???

The unlimited browsing was only introduced this month. It doesn't say on their site if it's a limited time only offer so quit and come back if you've reached the end of your current contract

This is a good deal if you want an 18 month contract and one of the phones on offer so heat plus rep added

However for anyone wanting a 12 month contract like me, Vodafone are offering a Free Nokia N95 8GB, 600 mins, 500 txts (with Free Jabra Bluetooth Headset as mentioned by DuckMagicUK2), £40pm + £130 Quidco.

Ok, a £40pm contract sounds a lot, however it's only a 12 MONTH CONTRACT, and with the £130 Quidco cashback this works out to be only £29.17 per month, for which you are getting a FREE Nokia N95 8GB version handset, which can be unlocked through Vodafone F.O.C.

All the details of this are located here ]http//ww…in/

May be useful for someone :-D

Those are Not high end phones?

The only high end phones may be the Nok N95-8GB.. or may be the C902..

Those others are just gimmicky flah phones for kids to show off and go"Look it lights up!!".
