Vodafone Big value 50gb 4G data, 150 Minutes and Unlimited Texts

I understand this was posted before however the deal has now improved in that you can get the 4G data for only £10 rather than £20. I also understand that the previous EE deal was better however with this you get some minutes and texts included. Lasts for 30 days and must be activated by the 30th to take advantage of the offer.

To get this it must be your first big value bundle

50GB data is for 1 month only

Its completely legit however its only for one month
can you use it with mifi?
Hmm, thought it was too good to be true! Considering Vodafone normally gives you unlimited data on the first 3 months with all or most of their pay monthly plans then this is nothing special?
tut i thought this was true
50gb for a tenner a month
Tethering?
Good deal, but watch out Vodafone will sting you where they can.
Does anyone know if I can just buy a sim and top up that way or must it be online?
Might try it out, 3 and EE 4G seems to stall at 6MB here...

If you’re a new Big Value Bundle customer or moving from one of our Freebies onto a Big Value Bundle, you’ll get your 50GB of UK data automatically when you buy your Big Value Bundle.

Looks like any new sim will have applied with a purchase of a 'big value bundle' (strange to name a product after your third party monkey customer care)
This same sim card is available on ebay for £5.but you need to get in quick

The Vodafone website says £10 gets you 4G. From the OP I understand that the £10/£20 3G/4G distinction used to exist but not anymore. Whether the extension of the 4G to the £10 bundle will be honoured if you buy the SIM from eBay, one needs to find out.

I've sent a message to the seller. Meanwhile, a safer option is to buy a SIM with £10 credit preloaded, and buy the bundle yourself. The SIM costs £5: ebay.co.uk/itm…807

This deal is more suited for those who need a lot of data for one month without any commitment.
can't see the point in it only being for a month !
Like the EE deal if it is only for a month or two it is pointless unless you hapen to only need it short term at the same time as the promo. When are we going to see true fixed line broadband replacement deals like they see in other Countries? In my parents area they get around 20Mbps via 3G but only 2-3 Mbps on their fixed line but there are no reasonable cost 50GB data deals for them to take!
Good luck trying to get 3G let alone 4G with these muppets.

Handy if you happen to be going on a hiking holiday in the next few days :). Heat added.
Bought the eBay one, thanks. I'm keen to see what the Vodafone service and signal is like now after using EE for a few months.

Exactly, just moved Into new build and virgin media will take 4-6 weeks to set up.
I'm moving house and took advantage of the sky 45p a month broadband!

Can someone tell me is this 4G? Also if i buy it says it starts from purchase date so as soon as i buy that will be my free 50GB after that i will not need but there will be a gap of two weeks for the broadband so this will be perfect to fill the gap missed out on the EE deal!

If i buy the ebay deal is it already set up or i need to put another £10 on or is it as it states on ebay £5 for your 50GB of data?

Also can it just be put in an ipad mini II i don't need voice or text!!

Any help will be greatly appreciated
Just spoke to voda and its for 4g!

But she said you need a data sim and not the voice one as it won't work in an ipad! Is that right? Though if you put voice in an ipad it would just use the data as normal but i must admit not up to these things!
Carry two phone folks. One for these sortof short term offers and the other as your main phone but on payg.

£10 pm is the max I woukd may for high/unlimited 4g data anyway. Have 6m 100gb from EE at effectively £5pm from the previous promotion.

Voted cold as the OP obviously posted a misleading title to get more heat.
50GB just for first month? Well than, why not ammend the tile to 500MB data?
Cold as title is misleading
voted cold. not a great deal at all. the 50gig is only available till 30 Sep (i.e 5 more days) after that it is 500mb per month for a tenner.
can you get it from stores? is tether allowed? I'm moving flat so I have 1 week gap and this would be awesome!
Do they allow Tethering? One month would be OK for me as my daughter doesnt have BB where she is yet untill they get round to installing it.
There offering such a large amount because you will be lucky to use 5gb of it, data connection is **** when out and about, cant wait to end my contract with them.

Think of it as a short term 1m sim

Yes you have to buy within 5 days but the data is for 1 month use from your top up date. You then bin the sim and look for another offer.

Can anyone clarify if it allows tethering?
If it helps, I used to tether all the time using my old free £15 bundle Mobile by Sainsbury's SIMs which were on here last year. They're a Vodafone based network.

As far as I know, Vodafone are very lenient when it comes to tethering on their Pay Monthly contracts, but am unsure if this is the case with PAYG.

I got 50GB a month on EE for £40 a month including a 'home' (mains powered) 4G router by calling them up. Only a bit more expensive than line rental + broadband and speeds are faster than when I was on a fixed line!
You'd be lucky to actually get a 3G, let alone a 4G singal to use this on Vodafone!!!
