Was looking around for broadband deals and cancelled one I had on order as this works out at £17.39 (30mb) or £22(63mb) a month + a free Amazon echo plus.

I’ve heard Vodafone aren’t the best but at this price I’m willing to take a punt. Note they check your speed once you put your post code in.

The deal includes a £75 gift card at Currys / John Lewis / Amazon / M&S. The echo you can keep
If you like but worst case it will fetch £49 at CEX (even more on fleabay).

If I’ve done my maths right, this brings the 35MB down to £14.66 a month (21 x 18 (378 ) + £9.99 (387.99) - £75 (Gift Card) - £49 (Echo Cex) = £14.66

63MB down to £20.66 a month (27 x 18 (486) + £9.99 (495.99) - £75 (Gift Card) - £49 (Echo Cex) = £20.66

Offer ends July 26th

Router is very poor, multiple disconnects and WiFi is shocking. Although you can ring them for username and password, just tell them you have an Openreach compatible modem/router, I'm using a Netgear D6220, although this won't help with the Vodafone speed at peak times or poor customer service when you ring them

Forgot to add it’s the Echo Plus 2nd gen. You get a code within 60 days to spend at Amazon.
Gutted. Signed up last week. Did go through TopCashback though so hopefully will still get the £40.50 as well as the echo.
Decent savings....HOT from me
Anyone know if I, as a current Vodafone customer, could sign up in my wife's name?
Thanks for posting

I'm currently paying £24 for up to 63mb (get about 52).
Is it worth cancelling and reordering.. wouldn't keep the echo and if go by the maths in op then I'll be £2 a month better off.Too much headache me thinks.
They had a few teething problems but after pestering them a little they've been really good. I would happily sign up to another 18 months.
'Hurry, offer ends 13 August' from what I see

Yeah I wouldn’t bother either, not worth the effort.

One thing I've learned from dealing with the absolute clampets that are Skodafone is that they commonly say one thing and do the other and don't take notes about what they've agreed with you on

Rubbish router from Vodafone, Drop outs and low speed. They will happily give you the username and password so you can use your own. I am using TP-Link AC1900 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit VDSL/ADSL Modem Router and no more drop puts and speed is always about 34- 35 mb.

14 Day cooling of period
Cheap for a reason. Utter garbage. I will never set foot near these clowns ever again. Terrible service, frequently drops out and restricted virtually every night despite their claims to the contrary. I measured less than 0.5mbps at some times between 6-9pm. Try watching netflix with that! Now I'm back with BT, paying more but have no issues whatsoever. Save yourself frustration and stay well clear.
I joined them last month and have to say its good. I get 50mb which is the same as i got before with BT and Sky
Can't see any reference to the free echo plus when going through that site? Just a £100 voucher (instead of £75)? Is there a direct link I need to to use
Thanks
Been with Vodafone for over a year. If you move to them, get your own router as theirs is rubbish!
Don't do it. Honestly signed up via an offer here back last month and it's been terrible. WiFi dropouts in our tiny place. Overcharged on bills, customer service is non existent and God forbid your internet drops out after 9pm (which it has done to use daily) there isn't any support.

Really wish we never joined

Phone line and router is awful
It's a good price but has anyone actually got this? And can they tell us what the speeds are really like? Thanks

Been with Vodafone broadband for a few months. Had no issues with speed or stability. Would recommend
My 18month contract with them just expired a few days ago and now I'm on rolling 1 month. Would I be able to reapply in my own name through this? They've been great for me tbh. Can't comment on their router as I've been using my own for years.
Really bad speed and customer service
Bb drops out every other day in the process of cancelling the bloody service

Agreed! I was with them for 18 months and their router, while stable, synched at ~28Mbps for some reason. I thought it was the line but now with Plusnet at 39mbps!
I guess it depends on coverage in your area. I've found them pretty good. Contacted customer service after they charged £11.99 for router and they refunded it as I never saw it when ordering. Router isn't half bad. I was expecting the worst of worst but it has been okay thankfully.

Only good thing with them is they hardly block anything. Unlike sky and bt
Been with Vodafone for 2 years. Never had a problem. They also offer a free static IP address for home customers too if you ask.

Vodafone use the same lines as BT so unless there was a problem with your router, this makes zero sense.

I'm with Vodafone & did have issues at the start. Complained & BT Engineers came out, fixed the issue (wall socket) & everything runs great now.
Factor cost of getting a new router, Vodafone one is awful
Gutted that I just signed up to BT last week cracking deal, heat added!

Wondering this also - might just sign up and see what happens

Looks like it's new customers only so sign up in another family members name? That's what I'm doing
I wouldn’t want to go anywhere near a Vodafone mobile contract, I shudder to think about using them as my main home ISP.
I'm currently with Plusnet and out of contract - they've offered £23 for 12 months as a defence deal.

I deal with VF at work - not sure I want to take the risk for a couple of quid and an 18 month contract.
