New or existing Vodafone customers that are out of contract, can get an 18-month contract with Vodafone Broadband, which includes line rental and unlimited downloads with up-to-38Mb speed broadband. The deal's available to 83% of the UK based on postcode (you're told when applying if you can't get it). Here's how it works...

Line rental's 'free' for the 18-month contract. Vodafone doesn't charge for line rental with this package, it comes with the broadband.Broadband's £20/mth. After the 18-month contract, it remains at £20/mth.

Nothing to pay upfront.
Usually £49, there's no cost with this deal for activation and router delivery.Cost analysis: It's £20/mth for broadband and line rental before any call or new line costs, so you pay £360 over the 18-month contract.

Or pay £25/mth for 76MB/sec for broadband and line rental for £450 over the 18 months

- What about calls? No calls are included – call costs to other UK phones are mostly slightly lower than BT's.

- No line/switching from cable (or in a few cases, Sky customers)? Installation's £60. You'll know before committing.

- Is the price fixed during the contract? Technically no, but if it does raise prices, you should be able to ditch your contract penalty-free.

TCB is available at £21 taking £1.16 off the price so could be £18.84 per month or £23.84 cracking deal if you ask me

Also torn!!!!

You can get same for £16 from sky if a sky TV customer. Just phone and request to seal to the retentions team. I have done it for myself and 2 other family members and counting. Hot though for the price

Still think plusnet is better overall especially if you want bt sport. And its a 12 month contract the cash back difference is pretty much the difference in cost.

Hurry up BT and send me my price increase letter

Think it got expired because the deal wasn't live so, couldn't prove it.

What are BT offering? They appear to be £30 for up to 52mb so, £25 for up to 76mb seems better? Especially seeing as the physical line in to the house will be the same.

I should think so, if you're being ripped off for Sky TV.......

What price does it cost you to become a sky tv customer?

Not had sky for a very very long time

If you’re curious about calls, Vodafone offer 3 different packages.

Ultd evening and weekends to landline - £4 pm
Ultd anytime to landline and mobiles - £8pm
300 international minutes - £5pm

Not for me given they bump the price up due to being in the unlucky percentage connected to a market 1 exchange

Can use this against BT but remember nothing stopping you notifying BT and then joining them again. I'm waiting for BT offers then i will notify them and then join the same company but in my wifes name as she is a new customer.

what i like about this is no cards and hoops just one low price for the whole 18 months. Can prices rise mid contrac with voda

It was to sign up as a new customer as they also offer a 125 reward card and 90 top cash back

How's customer service with Vodafone? From the other threads I sort of deduced that they're as bad as any other and that there's no "good" customer service when it comes to ISPs. If it's just as poor as any other, I'll probably take a bite of this deal.

They posted when no deal was available. There seems to be too many of that tbh only deals that are live or proof they are going to be live should be posted with the proof. He said live yesterday and it didn't go live so therefore was a non-deal

The prices shown on Vodafone website exclude VAT and they are asking for one off charge of £90 from me, although using existing line

Some people may have to pay a connection fee if an open reach engineer is required. Think this costs £60.

I think you're buying a phone mate or mobile broadband. Lmao £34.17 exe vat. Please engage brain the voda website says £20 so even plus vat it would be £24. And besides the prices quoted are the ones including vat

I've just bought it, prices offered include VAT.

"Payment: Payment is by Direct Debit. Please note that VAT is included in the advertised prices and charges where required and is applied at the UK standard rate in force unless otherwise stated."

How's wanting BT sport change the equation here? (genuine question)

Opted for £25 deal, rightly or wrongly! Minimum 40mbps versus 35 for £5pm however, 45-64mbps 'expected' lol

I've had Vodafone broadband for about a month now, getting around 18mb. When I had Sky broadband, I was getting 35mb. My house is about 100 yards from the exchange as well. Peak times, it has dropped to 5mb!
If it continues like this then I'll be calling them to see what can be done.

I never receive email from BT with prices rising for my contract and fibre...

I'm with TalkTalk and pay 35 per month for 76 download and approximately 20 upload and any time calls. I need a landline.
Voted hot though

Amazing. Was looking to leave BT, this seals the deal.

I, too, had the 76 installed around a month ago. I have been very happy with it so far. Getting around 65 down and 15 up. Contact with customer service has also been very pleasant and productive. Caller display is £1 pm on top.

Must admit these recent reviews do not inspire me to sign up with Vodafone.

Showing same for me. This is actually putting me off.

Edit.....

My bad it’s £90 total savings. If you click continue they then give you a breakdown.

I look at it this way, it's a BT line, I've been on BT since August and have had some issues. I expect the same issues cos it's the same line. It can't be the same as transferring Virgin to an Openreach provider, think I know what I'm getting in to.

Plus net provide it for £12.49 in hd, sky sports that is, on sky

Hurry up BT and send me my price increase letter

Got mine today

I have a couple of questions....
1. How far in the future can the installation date be set? My current contract with Sky runs out early January.
2. It mentions a fee of £60 if not switching from a BT openreach line. If LLU with Sky, does this fee apply, or is it really referring to switches from cable-only?

I am with BT and is out of contract and paying £50 per month. Do i need to give any minimum period notice to BT before moving to vodafone as i can switch to the earliest date available to start service with vodafone...Any idea?
