Everyone’s mileage will vary but Vodafone have been by far worst the provider I’ve ever had. Huge issues with network congestion resulting in unusable speeds. No support or resolution from Vodafone. Currently in the process of leaving and will happily pay a few pounds more for a better provider

I've been tempted for a while because of the price, but the bad reviews are putting me off.I'm out of contract with BT now (whose broadband has been great, and I've never needed any form of customer service from them) & my price has jumped to £45pm, with no success "haggling"

My personal experience was horrible.

Honestly slower than dial up at times. Absolutely unusable. Streaming Netflix and Now TV was a pixelated mess.

Others mileage will inevitably vary just telling it how it was for myself.

Luckily managed to terminate my contract fee free after just 3 months.

Never again, I'd rather pay a little extra for a stable connection.
In August they had the best deal:Vodafone Broadband Superfast 2 (63mbps) at £20 /month (regardless if you do have mobile account with them or not) + £100 Amazon voucher + Echo Plus (2nd Gen) (£128.94).

So I have managed to sell the Echo Plus for £100 and end up great deal and very fast broadband with decent support(tried them as I wanted to use my own router).

I believe it's £2 discount for mobile customers, not £3.

It's not very clear on the site but when you log in as an existing customer, it offers £3 per month 'Vodafone Together' discount
Great price but I decided against it due to the diabolical customer service reviews.
Shows £60 upfront for me I've been waiting for the free speaker etc deals to come but looks like not for a while.
Does anyone know if you can renegotiate a contract? We signed up as existing mobile customers maybe 6 months ago at a higher price than this.

My experience with them is OK as broadband provider, but the customer service is not exist as nobody pick up the calls after trying for 5 days. Feel free to try to call their customer service team to experience the experience

I’m currently £30 a month for Superfast 2, so a wee phone call will be made! Cheers

I'm their mobile customer , they offered me £16.52/month deal. Though it's a great deal, the customer service issue is putting me off. My contract with Virgin ends in Feb and they are willing to take off charges till feb 27th. Too good to be true offer but again....
What do you guys think?

In my experience Vodafone is dreadful constant drops in east London.
All ok for me. I took the superfast 2 for £23/mo.. later got a monthly sim only mobile plan and they automatically applied a £2 discount on my internet subscription.. not only that, they sent me a free Amazon echo dot and I recieved a £100 Amazon gift card and another £40 cashback on mobile plan.

Concerning their internet.. no problems at all.. bandwidth as expected

I've signed up to have it installed in less than 2 weeks and I'm still in 2 minds because of the bad reviews.
I will still look around and see if I'm willing to pay a little bit more for peace of mind

Was great for me for about a year after using my own router since their own is terrible with constant drop outs but then speeds just dropped considerably the following year and their customer service is terrible

Ended up going with Sky that actually gave me better speeds than I was getting from Vodafone and when I was on BT previously. Their customer service is great too. Can't fault them

Exact same issue with me. They have put me on a congested line also. Luckily I’m in the process of leaving them now as I am not getting promised speeds.
Minimum is £21 for existing customers. Please amend the deal

I am getting a good service as well - used a draytek modem, edgerouter X and unifi ap. Constant 54mb everywhere. It must be their equipment which is rubbish (Huawei router?)

I have. I was connected on 23rd September. After the line settled, 9 days, I am now getting pretty much the same speed as I was with Plusnet. No slow down at peak times. The new router has been rock solid, no dropouts since connected. Many of the complaints are about customer service, but I haven't had a need to contact them.

Maybe. All I know is since I've switched to Plusnet, rock solid and stable.

Fingers crossed it continues that way.
For anyone put off by the dreadful Vodafone modem/router, Don't be. The new Voxi 3.0 modem/router is as good a broadband supplied modem/router as I've experienced. It copes well enough with multiple connections too etc... Get a strong reliable wifi signal throughout my house ( hollow walls ). They don't restrict access to torrent sites or IPTV etc.. They don't cut speed at peak times etc.. although in some area's it's suggested it maybe oversubscribed. However mine is very stable with little change in speed unless everyone is on it at the same time etc.. and then obviously it's shared between several devices.

Vodafone CS is hit and miss. I've had good and bad experiences with them.
Half tempted with this and breaking my Plusnet contract after they've shafted me.
See they have dropped the existing customer discount from £3 to £2 in the last 24 hours?
