After 3 months running at sub 5mbps and loads of attempts to get support, I can’t recommend this
Renationalise BT Openreach.
It’s not a supplier problem. I had good speeds with them, now I don’t.
The problem is the lack of support to put it right
Vodafone fibre worked from day 1. No problems consistent speeds.

Got my free £100 gift card with echo plus and TCB all paid out.

Ah ok thanks for info. sounds like a localised problem maybe for you? It seems Vodafone downfall is their customer service
I was waiting for this offer but didn’t think it was coming and ordered it yest 😫
I've got the same issue with plusnet, use to get really good 65/20 but seems that a combo of water in joints and evening contention I'm getting 5/2
But during the day it wavers around 20/5 and 30/10 so they say its in the acceptable range

Have you asked to cancel? As it’s breach of contract and you have a right to cancel -

Great deal I was looking at getting google hub and going on Vodafone broadband as my EE contract expires next month 😃
Try changing your router. I had a problem with inconsistent speeds until I switced the router with a netgear d7000. Been getting consistent 35meg dl and 10meg ul speeds ever since. You'll have to ask them for your broadband userid and password. Keep their router safe as they'll ask for it at end of contract.
Even a cheap tplink vdsl router (2nd hand from ebay) should do the trick if coverage isn't the issue. Maybe go for that to test the theory before investing in a costly router Don't go for used bt ones as they are locked and wont accept vodafone credentials.
Got super fast 2 going live today from voda at £23PM and £85TCB but no free google. So monthly has gone up £5PM to pay for the google device.

Has your router been resetting? Mine has been doing that for a few months and the forums seem to suggest it only happens when an apple device running ios13 is attached to the WiFi, happened immediately when the wife turned on her phone at the weekend so I've setup the second guest WiFi ssid and set that to 2.4GHz only and it's been (touch wood) stable since. I did call voda "help" line who were shipping me a replacement router but that never turned up! The speed generally drops after each reboot as the line does another re-sync.

I was with Talk talk at about 3mbs, changed to Vodafone, pay for 38mbs and this is exactly what I get.

Make sure you check your contract before returning any router, ISPs often ask for them to be returned or offer "recycling" but in reality they are just recovering assets from customers with the suggestion that you don't own it. Most routers are supplied just like a mobile phone and you wouldn't return that.

I've been with vodafone for about 3 years and not had a single issue. In my old house I used a netgear router as theirs was a bit hit and miss but when I moved house 2 month ago they now have an upgraded router which is spot on no need for any other equipment. My speeds are always around 63 to 68mb

Would like to get this,
But reviews don't look good.

haha thats exactly what im thinking - i know people who generally have a good experience dont write reviews on all the sites but there seems to be huge problems with activation even never mind the speeds and customer service........but that nest hub max.......

Renewed my contract because of the price rise and also eligible for this.

I agree with the sentiment that customer service is absolutely dreadful but I don't have the reliability issues of others.
Worth it for the hub imo. Hot.

For those wondering, on December 15th a form will go live that you need to complete to get the Hub. It needs be 30 days since your order too I believe.

My experience of Vodafone Broadband has been really good. I have used Sky in the past (when they first began doing Broadband) that was awful. AOL - awful.
And then most recently Plusnet... Utterly dreadful. (45 minute time minimum for customer care)
Vodafone had me set up without any issues on the launch day by some dude who sounded like he was alone in his own living room, going through all the motions, then assisting with DMZ and stuff. Anytime since I've had to call, they've answered instantly and helped me out. Re signed up with them last week, so gonna cancel and get this.

bit the bullet and ordered
what can possibly go wrong......
It says can only claim for the Google home after the 15th dec. I'm guessing they are allowing a month for connection
as an existing customer out of contract told i am not eligable.

Interesting. I am within contract and affected by the price rise. Was advised of the deal yesterday on live chat when discussing renewal and when I phoned up today I was offered the hub.
Topcashback seems to work for Mobile customers only
Got £80 Quidco tracked aswel!
I wouldn't get vodafone even if they gave me a free house with it . Absolutely dreadful customer service. The actual broadband might be o.k but if you ever had to contact them , which you will , it will make you shoot yourself in the face.
Just want a 12 month contract with no free crap I don't want
I signed up for Superfast 2 with existing customer discount about 2 weeks ago and it’s been activated, would I still be eligible for this or is it just for orders from now onwards? Any help will be appreciate, just my look this is

Edit - anyone else wondering - you can’t

Went live today and showing 47meg straight away and should go up over the next 10days.

Abit of a drop from 350meg virgin but everything else about the new house is perfect so couldnt turn it down.

so a week ago superfast 2 was £20 for mobile cutomers, it's now £26 with a "free" hub, lol. So generous to give us a free gift that we have to pay £6 a month for

Yeah although it works out at like £108 for a £220 device on that basis so still a decent perk
How much do you think I can sell the device for
