Probably worth comparing going via tcb instead
Personally had really bad experience with them. They couldn't offer me the min guaranteed speed from the beginning and only had promises for 7 months till I decided to cancel with my luck of them trying to put my price up otherwise if would have been endlessly headaches.

Similar story here... Huge mistake moving to Vodafone from BT to save a few pennies. Their service was brilliant
Vodafone broadband never, worst provider at the moment in the market, stay away if you can please
I too had issues but after a few weeks it got sorted and now syncing at 40 mbps on fibre 38. So fibre 38 line rental and all inclusive calls including mobiles for £28 month.
My mother is with these and they're absolute rubbish.

Google speed test =36.5 mbps
Moved from Talk Talk to Vodafone 16 months ago. What a difference! In 16 months I've reset the router twice. With TT this was happening weekly. The speed at Vodafone is so much better and consistent. On 38 Mb package, constant speed of 37-38mb. The downsize is I've got international calls on the phone package and they keep charging for 2 landlines or overcharge suggesting I have exceeded the minutes. So you have to keep an eye on what they charge. Sadly, customer service poor, almost like Talk Talk. At the end of my contract, debating if I should move or not. Pay more, £27 for broadband + £2.50 (half price, as they keep messing my bill) for 300 international minutes.

Yep that was my experience with them the two months I was with them. Called and was told I could leave without penalty. Got the BT reward card deal at 52mb/s and it's always at least 50mb/s
Is the issue with Vodafone the modem/router or their backhaul?
don't do it, speeds will be fine for the first couple of months and then they will fall off of a cliff.

I was getting 38 down and 10 up, so the full quoted speeds, i'm fairly close to the green box, you could chuck a stone and hit it.

i've been trying for 4 months to get it sorted out, they are utterly useless and they don't want to shell out on openreach visits.

i'm tempted to just cancel.

Used them and had 36-37 (speed check) out of 38mb Fiber Optic 1 Broadband.. Upload around 8-9mb

Had few different providers in few properties noticed it all depends on location.
Cheers OP went for it.
Been with them for almost 3 months so far on fibre 38......fantastic service speed never drops below 37mbps
I was thinking about switching to Vodafone until I read everyone's comments. Please can someone advise me which providers are good for Fibre broadband?

As the OP I took the deal - been live with Vodafone now a couple of weeks and so far all good.

Sign up went ok
Router arrived in time
Switch over happened when scheduled
Phone and Fibre working as expected
Anyone else got any feedback on Vodafone?
Just try it you get 30 days to cancel if it's no good
Took this deal and have had it for 5 days now. 35 down 5 up every day which is great but after 6pm the speed drops off a cliff. Netflix and other streaming services don't seem affected but web browsing, p2p, and downloading files maxes out at 1.5mbps. Strikes me as traffic management and can't live with that for 18 months. Such a shame as it's a great price.

Edit: Switched to my own router and suddenly the speeds are perfect. 37mbps all day, every day.

What a bunch of liars. On their website broadband 38MB is now £23/month, or £21/month for existing customers. I pay £27 for this package. My contract ends soon, so I rung to see if they will give me a deal. They offered me the £23 deal. I told them i can get this myself straight from their website, for £21, as I am an existing customer. Their answer is that the offer is 'a bit misleading', as existing customer means to have a mobile phone with Vodafone. They either lied to me, or the offer is not a bit misleading, is very misleading. Told them I can get the £20 with Now TV, same speed and only 12 months contract, their answer was that probably I can't get it, as they may not be able to take over my landline. Told them I've checked this already and it is possible, their answer was that i have to pay £9.99 for delivery at Now TV...spent an hour over an hour with them on the phone, they were trying to put me on their 76MB offer, which was £28, but £25 for existing customers. Again, I am not an existing customer with Vodafone, because I only have broadband and land line with them....I think they do not know what existing customer means. Eventually they offered me £50 credit to get the 76MB, declined, as I did not need this speed, so finally, after an hour they offered £50 credit towards the 38mb. Which brings the price to £20.22/month. Did not worth the hassle to go with Now TV for the sake of £0.22, however, I don't think Vodafone knows what loyalty means...

With regards to the speed and reliability, I am pleased with Vodafone broadband, got the 38mb option and my speed is 90% between 35-37.5. The landline is rubbish, had numerous problems with them. In terms of their customer service, see my latest comment.

Says 'Vodafone Mobile Customers' for £21 or £23 for new customers on their website.

Anyways, was looking at joining Vodafone from plusnet, but this thread puts me off.
Sorry, ignore my comment, in terms of speed and reliability, Vodafone is really good. In 18 months I had to reset the router 2-3 times, and in terms of speed, with the exception of a couple of occassions I always had close to 38mb. I had problems with the landline and I did not like their customer service, but still far superior in comparison with my previous provider. Because the broadband was good, this is why I kept them.
