yeah can anyone confirm this?

With the treatment I've received from them, I'm sure they'll find a way to charge me double prices instead...

Ditto - would not trust them not to charge me if I used on this day. Have a 24 month contract and have to ring them every month to sort out my bill - last month charged me for minutes that should have been inclusive. :x

heh to the negative comments - I really understand where they're coming from!

I'm quite excited about this though as I've a spare Vodafone sim that should still be active. If free internet is on PAYG I can have a blast. Though since my main PAYG provider is Asda, whose rates are 20p/MB, I can hardly see me saving much!

Vodafone:) they are actually pretty smart because they want to test how much traffic load there in that one day & what (if any) problems occurre fix them before as they are bringing the iPhone in January maybe even the Motorola Droid soon xD

I always forgive them and go back to them as they always work out the cheapest on the phones I pick, but never again!

Over the past 6 months I have cancelled 2 contracts (on seperate occasions) and they've just carried on charging me for them. 1 eventually got cancelled and partially refunded - the other I'm still paying for now.

My Nokia 5800 is forever breaking, and their repair service just consists of re-installing the firmware so it works again for a few weeks then starts to break again. And somehow I've been charged £30 for usage in Canada when I know for a fact I ddn't intentionally use anything there because of their roaming prices (they insist anything caused by the phone being faulty is my responsibility!).

i can see the network getting slow congested :-D great idea guys!

If you cancelled the contract and they're still charging you just cancel the direct debit and get them to sort it after. First thing I do once Ive made final payment for something is cancel the direct debit.

Well I've been with them for about 4 years and the major problems only started around 6 months ago, maybe you'll be fine! I'm sure this isn't representative of their general service, but I can't come back after what I've gone through!

I can't really cancel the direct debit because I have another contract with them that hasn't been cancelled. Plus I don't want to mess up my mums credit rating.

I usually get a text from them when they do this but have received anything from them.

what are the wap settings for voda I can't get my phone to access this tried several different settings from several different websites none worked

I'm on a PAYG sim, have no credit and it's working great. :santa:

I just registered a new Vodafone sim and it works!

got there in the end
