What speed ???????
38mbps, I'm thinking of dropping TalkTalk for this but unsure of Vodafone's broadband reliability.

I have Vodafone. Its worth it as there is no separate line rental but my service drops out most days, only for a minute or so and it fixes itself but it can be annoying.
Been with Vodafone for 5 months no issue, unlike when is was with bt or
sky or Talktalk

Had TT before and had lots of problems. Now with Vodafone, in 13 months I had to reset the router only once. Constant speed of 37.5 mbps, good broadband. The issue is with overcharging the phone on regular basis and miserable customer service. I cannot wait the contract to finish and change the provider, as I am fed up to spend hours over the phone with them every month and solve nothing.
I got Vodafone BB 76 Mbps in December and no problems with service, Faster and more reliable than BT.

Me too. I switched from SSE which was excellent but not competitive at renewal.
Vodafone speed and connection stability has been excellent using their router.
I ordered 76Mbp two weeks ago for £24 per month, I was connected on Thursday and it's been perfect. Just did a speed test:-

I am happy with that for half the price I was paying Plusnet!

That UL speed too!
33235326-YKKWM.jpgI pay £20 pm with Vodafone for 30mb no problems been with them a year.
Daily dropouts and a terrible router that stopped working every 3 months (factory reset brought it back to life and reset the countdown). Had to buy my own router to eliminate the latter issue, the former still exists.

Can't wait to leave them.

I picked it up at this price too. They also gave me £4 calling boost over the phone worth £8 unlimited calls etc.
I do get variable speeds over wifi tho from 20/40 meg altho im on 38meg but its cheaper than a standard package

Check on regular basis how much they charge you for the phone. My deal was £5 for 300 international minutes. Every month I have to ring them and argue with them about this. They either added an extra land line and costs £10, either give me a discount of £2.50 but for some reasons they charge me £7.50 now and so on. They attempted to charge me £200 as I have exceeded my minutes, when in fact in that month I was working abroad and was home only 2 days the whole month, etc. Put 2 complaints so far and they never got in touch. The broadband is fine, but because of the phone I am thinking of leaving them. Terrible customer service.

I never use the stock router i just use it as an access point i use an Xiaomi router, great speed and i can cap the rest of the family mbs and speed up my phone and Xbox (8 months now and they are oblivious) my family are using 17mbs and i use the rest
I agree that the router is absolutely shocking, always drops and has a dreadful WiFi coverage. Even in the smallest of houses you will need WiFi extenders if you plan to use WiFi.
Am I right in thinking Vodafone use their own cables via Cable And Wireless and not BT's like most of the others?

My first broadband was max 512mb down and 56kb up, how the world has changed !

Looks great ordered mine for march activation

Also people moaning about dropouts note the time and weather when dropping out i had a nightmare with mine and third by engineer turned up when raining and realised the connection was arking across an exposed wire

What they don't know won't hurt them !
Note that included within this deal is the absolute worst CS I've encountered with any ISP.

I joined Vodafone in January & went back to BT last week, that's how bad they are.

Oh & this deal has been posted repeatedly since before Christmas...
Plusnet matched this price for me last week
Never had issues with Vodafone when it's up and running, but they managed to mess up my initial connection and I've been without broadband for three weeks now cos they also messed up my home move.

I'd still go with them cos they're good value for money, but their CS is shocking.

Plusnet are offering 38mbps for £25pm with £70 TopCashback. So as long as the cashback pays out would actually be cheaper.

Despite being owned by BT they have much better CS in my experience.
Signed up a few weeks ago, paperwork came through saying £25 a month when order said £20. Router out of stock, read all the reviews on here and trustpilot and bottled it. Cancelled last night via live chat but email this morning confirming activation date - oh dear. Better the devil I know (SSE for £24 a month)
I have got 76Mbp last month for £24 per month,

If it perfect and Vodaphone is the only provider which will give you upload speed of 18-20 MB in £24
, so pay an extra £4 it is worth it to double your internet speed.

They also initially messed up my start date but just for a day for which they compensated first month free

I’m on the 76mb one and never had below 69mb for last six weeks of having it pretty decent to me
Great another Vodafone post for the same offer posted at least a dozen times now. Cold as OP should have searched first

This is £30 TCB, so if TCB pays out on both Vodafone is still cheaper. Vodafone is also 18 months, plusnet 12 months.
Looks a good deal but I almost lost the will to live when dealing with Vodafone customer services and their store at the Gyle in Edinburgh recently.

So bad, they actually make "3" customer services look quite good.

They are just sales people. They simply do not want to know when things go wrong. They will make promises and then do nothing. They seem to be mostly staffed by shameless liars..
If I have virginmedia broadband and no phone line, do I have to pay for installation or is it included in "activation"?
I am reading about supplied broadband router wifi issues, possible bad customer service and bad single thread (download from one source) performance on evenings, can any current users confirm please? Otherwise I would join for £24.
Been with voda broadband since December on the higher tier. Get 70+ down most of the time. Sometimes drops to 60 but rarely.

No issues with me, decent service and billing is clear. Router is pretty standard but hey, its free.......
The App is handy too showing connected devices, wifi code etc....
I have had nothing but problems since moving from BT in December 2017.
I was able to get 49Mb downloads with BT and expected to get the full 38Mb with vodafone,
Started well, connected at 40 but dropped to 27.5 over the week. Openreach engineer called out.
Reset, connected at 40 but again dropped to 27.5. Same happened again. Twice.
My guaranteed minimum is 32Mb so I'm seriously considering going back to BT. No penalty as they cannot meet their minimum speed guarantee. My advice, stay well clear. They have no clue what to do if there is a problem.
How can I possibly get 49Mb from BT but only 27.5Mb from Vodafone? Same cabinet, same copper to the premises, same hardware, except for their router. They even sent me a new router, made no difference. I'm stuck at 27.5Mb it seems.
Just my 2 cents worth ... take from it what you will!

I've had Vodafone for 6 months now, been spot on in terms of speed but Vodafone router WIFI is very rough.
Picked up a mesh network and now it's 10/10.
I've been with Vodafone 2 yrs now no problems at all
