I found this data sim on ebay

Vodafone Mobile Broadband Sim (Can be cut down for iPad)

Unlimited Data, No fair use policy.

Price now up a tenner - and littlecube2010 is the seller that sold buyers six month data sims that died outside the 45 day Ebay buyer protection scheme.
- ibiza

Just to confirm what ibiza commented, I bought this SIM from littlecube2010, 2 months into the 4 month period the SIM connects but fails to download any data, I'm assuming a block has been put on the card. littlecube2010 of course fails to reply to any messages sent. DO NOT BUY from this seller.

Agreed that Vodafone provide a dreadful 3G service.
In my experience, over the past 12 months, 3 are excellent. Can only speak for data use, as don't use them for voice/text.

Not voting either way on this one due to poor Vodafone experience
I would also wager that the word unlimited should be in inverted commas

From the Q and As

I'm a bit dubious about that, download 100GB and vodafone will be alright? (assuming you can lock onto a decent 3g signal long enough)...
good deal but not convinced by his feedback
Is this sim better than one of these ? (i know, they also need a sim)

Anyone found the T+C's for this? Seems a bit dodgey you can get it of ebay but not I store???

from us only. They dont do
this offer in retail shops'
Isn't 12 month SIM only deal (T-Mobile) on fleabay a better deal?

usually things that seem to good to be true, are. Who's word do we have that it is truly unlimited; some ebay seller? anybody out there that can confirm the unlimited deal.
Not bad if you have a 3g Ps vita
is the sim on t-mobiles actual web site not a better deal? being using one for a good few months now, £10 and you get 500mb, a month ( speed reduced if you go over that amount ) for 1 year.

For the same price you can get a Three sim with 1GB or GiffGaff do it for 7.50
i disagree about 3g coverage because it depends on your location im in the north west and get really good download speeds.
Good deal, but Vodafone 3G signal sucks! South London and Clapham Junction included!

should have mention that £10 includes 1 years internet, not £10 per month.
Customer service looks poor should have the a problem if the recent feedback is anything to go by.

Will this dongle work at international countrys such as Pakistan ?
vodafone are the worst company in the universe
Top result is the Vodafone 4G in Brinsworth,Rotherham,South Yorkshire.
I do get an insane speed in my house for some reason.

Ignore the 3G in the top, it swapped just after taking the sample. 3G only gets about 3000kbs, still more than fast enough for anything on your phone.

Aside from a few trials that are ongoing, there are no 4G LTE or otherwise networks available in the UK at present. Besides, none of the operators can apply for a licence until later this year.
We've only just upgrading our data centre network access routers ready for the operators we carry to increase their bandwidth.
Chances are you're picking up either a 3.5G service or the back end of a 4G trial.

tmobile, orange, and o2 are terrible - not used 3 yet - currently on vfone and its miles better than o2

at least vodafone have only one core network unlike the others so switch between 2g, 3g should be smoother and less problematic - well, thats the theory anyway

i reckon the licences wont happen until 2014 until the legal fight is over - by then uk will the smart price of the mobile bb world
eBay feedback is terrible. Wouldn't trust this to work. I use a 3 preloaded Sim from Amazon, never let me down yet.

Licences are definitely going to be sorted this year, as network infrastructure is already going in.
We have a "warehouse" full of routers ... at £1.2m each.
I also know that Everything Everywhere are spending money like it's gone way out of fashion
Use Vodafone 3G all over England (not UK) ona variety of devices. Tbh, I find it more and more disappointing. A couple of years ago I would have said it was the best, or very good, but I have hit loads of spots now in hotels and stuff where it just doesn't give me a 3g signal. Signals are very patchy, you can move 100 metres or go around a building and it all changes but overall i find Voda a let down. However, I'm not convinced any others are much different. If you say live in Manchester or London, or maybe even one suburb commuting to one business park for work, very rarely go elsewhere, you would probably think you have the best provider. Shame there isn't a more joined up effort with providers sharing resources but billing seperately like gas etc. who use the same pipes.
I moved to Vodafone for an iPhone deal and its been a rubbish choice. I can start using the internet but it'll fail after 30 seconds then stop altogether for a few minutes before letting me access it again for 30 seconds. Pure crap. I live in Glasgow, the UK's 3rd largest city and huge market, and massive parts of the south side where I live have no signal at all.

I was on GiffGaff and it was perfect for me pretty much all the time.
Giffgaff is £10 per month for unlimited smartphone internet, so it would come close if you have a way of tethering without your network knowing.
From other MB broadband sales there is no guarantee that the Sim will not cease soon after purchase.

Paypal will turn down any claim past 45 days.
I am on Vodafone as I get 20% off contracts through work but I agree. My 3G service CAN be excellent but it's usually terrible and as soon as you get to a large crowd (ie a football match) forget it.

Last time I went to St Mary's I couldn't even send or receive texts until I'd walked a mile away!! That was a one-off though and must have been due to a technical problem. Usually texts & phone calls are just about OK but forget data.

To compare, last year I went to watch Saints vs Rochdale in Rochdale and I was on O2 - I managed to e-mail my sister a 30 second video of the Saints coming out of the tunnel no problem. On Vodafone I'm lucky if I can update my status on FaceBook with the goals.
I had a sim of littlecube2010 and it stopped working after an hour.
Total waste of time and tried to palm me of with an over priced near worthless replacement.

Still waiting for a refund

Had a bit more luck. My Didamobile broadband sim lasted a month and a half before kaput. Just died completely and according to Didamobile not an uncommon problem which the reseller should offer a refund on. Still waiting...

It is the best in Airports. Guess it depends where you want to use it (It is fairly decent in the City as well).

Once Vodafone enable 900Mhz 3G then their network will be likely the best again country wide (Somewhat unfairly as you need 3 times as many base stations to run at 2100Mhz).

They are still evil though (Owed the taxpayer approx 7 billion and then agreed to pay one I dunno how that isn't corruption on the part of the government). O2 and Vodafone got their spectrum free and forever which is just stupid.
i'd be wary of this seller. He was selling galaxy nexus for 299.99 on ebay, but when you tried to buy it he upped the price and was demanding 350. very dodgy.
