Good on Vodafone to finally come around to help their vulnerable and disabled customers during the times of crisis where they will provide them with unlimited data so they can keep in touch with loved ones without worrying about their bill.

It will be automatically upgrading customers who are flagged as vulnerable in its systems and will send out a text to confirm this has been done

OFCOM defines vulnerable customers as those who might not be able to get in contact with a communications company due to their age, disability, income or geographical location.

Policy Guidelines

This is in addition to the VerMy offer limited to the first 500,000 through the app.

Hope it helps someone.

Thanks a lot buddy - good on all the companies to do their bit to help - we can only come out of it if we all act together and with compassion and kindness.
Is this a different deal to the one posted earlier

That one is for the first 500k who opt via the VeryMe reward app - this is for all people who get classed as vulnerable based on the ofcom definition.

You still need to be a paying customer in the first place and hence its not classed as a freebie. Correct me if I am wrong @Dan_82 ?

I thought unlimited by its definition is erm 'unlimited' - no?
You would think however some networks advertise unlimited with a cap at 50gb or 100gb

Wow ok, didn't know, that for sure is misleading then
I've just seen another post of this with the T&C's and it's capped at 25GB
With most of us at home on wi-fi, unlimited mobile data is not something do we really need, is it?

Didn't stop the buggers increasing my bill by 2.5% from Monday, giving 3 days notice.
These nonces could do with concentrating on providing shareholder value rather than giving freebies away to the underclass.
This, followed by a 2.5% increase for all there customers from next week.
They Vodafone cut all my services, Ive had to ask nighbour to piggyback on her connection
