Great deal.
Just picked this up last week - so not had it for long enough to comment on much - the price is fab for sure
Am halfway through my Vodafone /fonehouse redemption deal from last year. For people worried about how it works it works well, as long as you redeem in time. Would do it again.

Great deal. Redemption is really quite simple.
Just finishing a deal with Fonehouse and as others have said very easy for Cashback redemption and they send straight to your bank account quite quickly. No cheques like others.
they are also doing 10GB for £5 after cashback.
Don't forget £3.50 also by going through TCB/Quidco
I'm currently with vodafone, could I transfer my number across to this even though its the same network or would I have to transfer it away to another provider then back again to this contract?

You could transfer out and then in, or I believe you could also request to move the number to Pay As You Go and then to this number.
Looking to join Vodafone.Never done A cashback deal before.Sorry if it's been asked many of times. But how do you claim the cashback?.Voda has offerd me this deal for £18pm
It’s very easy. You download your bill on months 3, 5, 7, 9 and 12 to you fonehouse account page and they transfer the cashback to your bank account about a week later each time

I heard that some people have struggled with an internal transfer.

Another consideration is that you need to give 30 days notice to go to PAYG, even if the contract has ended.

I stupidly left it late, however if you port out to a different network they are now banned from charging you the full notice period.

I therefore ported out to Giffgaff at the end of the 12 months and only got charged for 1 or 2 days of the full rate. (They billed me for the month, but I got a pro-rata refund)

About six weeks later I took out a new Vodafone contract and ported back no problems.
If you can deal with a new number, the £10 voxi package is unlimited for the foreseeable future
I already have a Vodafone/fonehouse deal and it works out well, just have to put in reminders to claim the cashback, no issues

I pay for my wife and both kid’s contracts as well and would love to move them to this is well, anyone any suggestions on how to do this without having to register 3 more different accounts with fonehouse

That's the only problem I would have is the wait and the faffing around.

Yes, it was a bit of a faff tbh. Voda wouldn't play ball at renewal (surprise surprise) so I was left with the option of paying full whack, or faffing about to get on another cashback contract.

That said, I'm now on a 4Gb contract at a net cost of £3pm for 18 months, which is ridiculous considering I still get the weekly treat from VeryMe!
I'm a bit concerned about all these amazing Fonehouse deals. What is their balance sheet like? Are they just trying to rake in money? hopefully they will be ok and everyone will get all of their cashback before they go under like phones 4 u.

If they went under I'd assume you'd just pay the normal amount to Vodafone?

Seems like a great price but I need my number.

Yes, full amount and no cashback. Probably worth a gamble.

I had faced same problem with vodafone. Ported out at the end of contract (may be paid for a day or two). Then ported back on SIM provided by Vodafone (new fine house contract). No issues there.

Unlimited on voxi for £10?

I think you mean unlimited social media for £10 month? Limit is 8GB data..?

Yeah but as I said, provided you dont transfer your number over, you wont have the 8gb data limit
Does anyone know if the redemption can still be done if you port a different number to the sim? Or do you have to use the number given with the new sim card?

Thanks for that. Do you have to tell fonehouse youve ported another number over? Guessing you dont?
I was lucky enough to get this for £6 pm in December, but did miss out on the MPD one which included either Now TV/Spotify/Sky Sports and double data (60GB) for £6.33.

AFAIK resellers such as Fonehouse are only interested in the Vodafone contract and not any particular number associated with it!

If 20GB is enough for you, then doesn't really matter if you get 30GB or 100GB, as the extra goes unused anyways. If you wanted to, you could apply for the 30GB deal first and cancel the 20GB contract once 30GB goes through, as you might be within the cooling off period.

Yes thats Voda's customer care suggested too - for me 20GB is actually more then enough Thanks for your quick replies, much appreciated.

oh so how do you do that? because my vodafone contract is about to end in 1.5 months. should i jsut let it run out and a day before ask for the PAC code? then just transfer it to the new sim? i.e. keeping the same number? sorry i am a bit confused

Yes if you are transferring out, you can call a day before and get a PAC code, to transfer out on last day or later. 30 days notice is not required if you are taking a PAC and moving out. I recently called to give notice on my wife's contract and was advised as such.

Am assuming you meant transfer to another network and back to VF on the new sim. You cant directly move from old to new sim on VF itself
A word of warning for those already on a VF Contract. My contract was nearing its end when I ordered a new sim and plan through mobiles.co.uk. As a result of trying to create a new account, I failed the credit checks which meant I had to wait 90 days before I could order a VF contract in my name. My only option was then to use my dad (different address) to set up a new plan for me. I'm not saying the same will happen to you, but you may need to have a back up plan if you too fail the credit check.
My current VF contract still has 4 months remaining but I have just ordered in my wife's name as she is on payg. Let's see if we are successful in having two accounts at the same address

Should be fine. I have two with VF and both through Fonehouse. I had tried a third before one of the contracts was expiring, but was declined. So I took in family member's name. Don't think address will be an issue, but multiple on same name and network might be.

You were right, no issues with ordering. Got her the 3gb plan with unlimited calls and texts. Effective cost is £2 a month which beats the £10-£15 a month she was costing me on payg!

I had my second connection request failed with mobiles.co.uk in the first attempt. I Spoke to the customer service and mentioned about my flawless payment history. They spoke to Vodafone and sorted out the new second connection.
