Vodafone Pay & Go Mobile USB Broadband £39.00 - 1GB FREE (=2GB) - INSTORE - LAST DAY TODAY!

Found 30th May 2009
Only relevant for very occasional mobile broadband users that are after a secondary means of access.

The benefit is that with this Vodafone package
* remaining allowance doesnt timeout after a 30 days (unlike other networks offerings and) so could last you for 2 years if need be.
* no contract

In the Vodafone shop today they are offering an extra 1GB (worth £15) topup for the same price as the dongle+1gb allowance.

Further topups are £15 for 1GB.

Really good package for occasional/light usage (i.e. holidays and occasional train journeys) where this is NOT your main method of accessing t'web.

I should mention that this only works in the UK and the offer is in effect:
£5 off dongle (£34.00) + first 1GB topup £10 off (makes it £5) = 39.00
Seemed to be some confusion with sales staff (some knew about it, others didnt) but this deal has been running for almost 2 weeks aparently and the last day is tomorrow.

Once again, if you are a regular user then there are other much better deals out there for £70 for 1Gb/month for a year (but the allowance of 1Gb expires at the end of each month so you cannot carry over any allowance into the next)

This suits me as I have a blackberry and internet at work/home so only occasionally need access on the trot.

thanks

good thing is, your allowance doesn't run out

I wanted mobile broadband, but only using occasionally. This PAYG is the best method as the rest are monthly top ups losing what you don't use.
I got this in March, and also £10 through quidco which I have received this month.

Would this work in the Dell Mini10 i ordered the other day ?

Are they just plug and go type devices ?

I got one of these off the vodafone website for the £39 normal price with 1GB allowance, but also got £10 from quidco so effectively cost £29 for dongle with 1GB allowance.

I've had mine for about 6 months now and only really use it when away for weekends to avoid the rediculous hotel internet charges. I've had a fair amount of use from it already just on general surfing and still have £11 of my £15 credit remaining so has been great value for me. It's no use for downloading music/movies etc as you'll use the allowance up quickly, but is good for general and occasional internet surfing.

So great item and the offer above is a good deal if you'll use the original allowance up quite quickly.

Just grabbed one from Additions, £11.12 inc postage after discount codes !

How did you manage to get that price mate?

Order dongle @ £39 add an other item to make it over £60 (a clothing item is best) , use £30 off code (ZG310) then send other item back , total inc postage will be £11.12

Dosent get good reviews tho but at that price its worth a punt

Have also got this from Littlewoods using the £20 off £40 code. came to £23 delivered with a cheap filler item.

Great for occasional use.

Dont forget you have just a few hours left until this offer runs out. Got mne and a very happy with it.

I have turned off windows auto update though (left as notifcation only) so it does eat up my allocation.
Also you will probably not want to use things like Spotify or BBC iPlayer local client a these act as P2P clients meanng increased usage rate.
