I got a call from carphone warehouse yesterday as my contract is coming to an wnd in october i told him dont want upgrade will go to sim only and he said told me to go to mobiles.co.uk as they have an offer 9.99 unlimited everything???!!?? I havent looked as dont need it yet..
For sim only offers:

Mobiles.co.uk seems to have a higher number of poorer reviews on Trustpilot.

Trustpilot reviews seem similar between Fonehouse and Affordable Mobiles. Anyone experienced both of these companies and has a preference of one over the other? Otherwise are they both as good as each other in paying out and for customer service?

Fonehouse usually allows for uploadable bills whilst Affordable Moblles is doing it during Covid but may revert to bills being sent in via the postal service.
Just finished a Fonehouse cashback deal. Easy, no problems. Currently on Smarty 30gb/£10/m until I see another good deal.
Sake! My SIM for the £11ish per month deal for this just turned up today

No its not. Its a confusion most of us encounter with Vodafone. Red entertainment is red entertainment.

Hi,
Is this available online? couldn't find it.
I’ve been looking at the various Voda deals and confused by the speeds etc. Currently get around 27 mbps with BT and see some Voda deals with 2mbps listed which puts me off.

Any of these deals bit that sort of speed?
Last month took out this via e2save, having migrated my old Vodafone contract # to a GiffGaff PAYG SIM for a couple of days before bringing back onto new Vodafone contract.
Cashback wise I've had a few e2save (paid by Cheque) and then Fonehouse (paid direct to bank), but this year decided to go back to e2save as part of Dixons Carphone while Fonehouse is a far smaller outfit.
This deal, with potential few extra £ cashback via Quidco/Topcashback probably (i'm due £10) is showing as available on e2save for next 14 days, ie to end August.

Not suprised

£8.50 per month effectively

60G data more than enough

12 months

And best network coverage in my opinion ... not any of the poor 3 network or sky network rubbish like that

Same. Signed up for this last week, probably my 6 or 7th redemption deal and they get easier each time. Takes literally 3 mins (or less) or your time every 3 months - and 60gb for £8.50/month equivalent is a ridiculously good deal.
Thanks to those commenting on having successful cashback deals via Fonehouse.

Affordable Mobiles (AM) seems to offer better cashback for the contracts I have been looking at. If AM starts only accepting postal bills again. Then the cost of recorded post adds up and there isn't then much between Fonehouse and AM for the same contract.

Fibre broadband speeds are rather limited in my area. Unless via Virgin, who I am currently with (justr broadband) on a MSE advertised deal (from last year). I'll cancel Virgin to leave when the contract finishes. Had quite a few outages and the price is likely to jump.

Trying to decide whether to buy an unlimited EE data sim to use at home and give broadband a miss for a year. Or get a broadband deal and get a cheaper cashback mobile contract.

Three was really bad regarding data speeds and I managed to get out of the contracts penalty free. Had two of the cheap AYCE deals from just over a year ago.

Using a payg Vodafone sim has given decent speeds at times but also really dire. Seems a bit to unstable in my area. Mast maintenance issues. Shame as there has been better value cashback deals for Vodafone unlimted data.

Also tricky as pay monthly gets access to 800Mhz frequency which could improve speeds further. Shame the payg don't as it would be easier to test the networks. Not wanting to take out and then cancel pay monthly contracts with both networks to compare.

Need an App which can provide information for each network, at any location. Giving likely d/l u/l data speeds and signal strength. Wishful thinking!

I know it does. Red in the title for your deal does not equal red entertainment and free Spotify or other options. Your deal does not give you inclusive red entertainment add ons, irrespective of your use of capitals!

Really? I thought they were a more or less constant at the moment... I only need this to stick around until the 5/9 and I'll be all over this

Heated OP!
my contract with fonehouse/vodafone is ending soon. need to move my number to a new sim before I can get a new fonehouse /vodafone contract. Can someone suggest a good/cheap sim deal I can use for a few weeks?

What sort of price and what data, mins and sms amounts are you needing for the few weeks? How many weeks? What network preferences do you have?

I got an Asda sim (EE) and bought a £7 2.5GB data pack for 30 days. 300 minutes & unlimited texts. Just to try out the EE network. Granted no 800Mhz. Plusnet uses EE. If Three is good where you are. Maybe a PAYG with a data bolt on? Put a tenner on the account so after the pack expires I'll have £3 to keep the sim active. With a chargeable text or call to make every 180 days.

Thought it was Lebara advertising on TV with an offer of ~£20 a month for 3 months. With unlimited data, voice and texts but cannot see it on their website. Could have finished.

only care about data. all networks are good in my area. I usually use between 10 and 15 GB of data each month. It's until I find a good 24 month cashback deal on fonehouse, so cant say for sure how long it will take, but hopefully within a month. Could cut the use of data if needed. If I could get something for a fiver with 5GB, that would be great. Will look into some of your options.
