Called the other day, got offered nothing good, tried again today, got this deal.

The T&C say the standard monthly cost of this package is £11 but they’re giving me a 40% discount for being a loyal customer. The discount is applied for 12 months only. Global roaming is included, as is tethering he said.

About 2pm today, online chat got a pac yesterday then today they put me through to upgrades online ,they also offered
Unlimited min 7gb £11.10
500 min 10gb £10.80
All unlimited sms

Got the £19.80 credit after picking the deal the account holder wanted and thought I ask for some free months, they offered 1m straight away so I asked for 2m free..
What’s wrong with people? I mean £6.60 for 5.25 GB is an amazing offer. It’s Vodafone too so an added benefit. Heat from me.

I was offered that as well, but I didn’t need as much as 7gb. So asked for the next one down.

I tend to make most of my calls when at home, so I use WeQ4U and it doesn’t use any minutes or any GB. So 250 minutes for outside use is plenty for me.
i chatted to 2 people on live chat and 1 only sent me the plans available online, the other offered me 500mins, unlim text, 5gb for £13.50 and when I asked for the plan mentioned here, she said it doesnt exist.
no hope...

Get a pac then when they've given it ask if there's any deals to retain you..pac can be given by usual customer service online it would seem and they don't really have deals. You need to speak to upgrades /retentions / saves. That may help

I had asked for my pac code before being offered this. And, it was my second call, 3 days after the first. I truly thing it depends who you get and how frequently you try. When I called the second time, he re-read all the notes from my first call, so he knew what I was aiming for. Good luck

So i tried a number of times calling, and they wouldn't come close. Yesterday, i ordered a Pac code after they didn't offer anything decent. So i thought i'd try the chat ... after waiting like ages ... i said i wanted to leave to Plusnet (3gb, 2000min £8) as they were offering me a great deal, unless you can beat it ... the first chat guy says he'll put me through to a dept that can help .... waited ages to connect , i tell him the plus net deal getting ready to quote the deals that you guys have been offered and he straight away offered me 6Gb, 1000min for £9.90 with 2 months free (effectively £8.25) ... was going to bite his hand off ... then i see my fingers type ... Give me 3 months free and you got me for another year .... to which he replies ... manager says ok so thats 6Gb, 1000min, Unlim txt effectively £7.42 still keeping the roaming , tethering etc

Thank you fellow hudders for your ideas and encouragement

Moral of the story is, keep trying Hudders
