Forgot to mention this is normally £32.00 a month, I was given a 50% discount.

How do you get this please?

And don't forget to push for the first month free to sweeten the deal...

It's still Showing £32 on Vodafone Website.

I pay 26 for 6GB so its definitely a good deal.

We get 15gb off 3 for £8

hi

this was a retention deal, I asked for a Pac code after stating that Virgin were doing a similiar deal which I was currently on for £8pm (which was posted on HOTUKDEALS). I was then offered the deal above....

not sure if this available to non Vodafone customers....

Got the same deal with first month free. He's at

My Vodafone contract ends first week of November, so currently shopping around. This sounds pretty good actually for SIM only, that's what I wanted, I was looking at giffgaff, but this deal sounds better and I guess Vodafone is more reliable. Did you get this deal offered over the phone or in store? They ring me offering these types of deals (though not as good) over the phone sometimes and I often think they're too good to be true, so turn them down, especially when they sound so pushy. Gonna pop in the store tomorrow and ask. Perhaps if I say I want my PAC and that I want to leave Vodafone, they'll offer me something as good.

@sjm1993 I called and went though through the leaving option hoping to get my Pac code as I wanted to go for the virgin mobile deal posted here, I mentioned this to the retention guy and he offered me the above deal....thought it was to good a deal to miss, obviously others have got a free month out of Vodafone, something I missed worth giving them a call and saying you,be seen the virgin mobile deal...good luck

I got this deal a couple of weeks ago as well though didn't know I could haggle the first month free. Oh well, still happy.

Been on the same deal albeit slightly lower data at 5gb (4G) but have Spotify for the year for £15.50. Have been impressed with Vodafone retention deals.

To get these deals best to use webchat and respond by using HUKD deals as examples for negotiating with detentions.

Would be amazing if Quidco/topcashback were available but it's not on a retentions deal. Good if you actually need that much data but I've found I hardly use mobile data as the speeds are too slow.

I am on VF with unlimited mins/texts and 1GB data @ £16.80 pm but received £120 cashback so effectively £6.80 pm which for me is a much better system but will try retentions in Jan (when 12mth sim only is up) to see what they can offer.

Good deal, was just offered similar plan but with 4GB data for £13.50 per month

Just got this deal.
Didn't BS about. Said my contract is up just seen this, can I have it too please. Sure, done.
I work in London a lot, so the vodafone WiFi on the tube (stations) is a great addition too.
Thanks for posting.

I called up Vodafone as my contract is up for renewal.
Details
4GB data. Unlimited mins/texts,
6 months subscription - netflix, spotify, sky sports(only one)
3 months free data - data test drive
1 month free
So £13.50 x 11 = £148.50 for contract duration 12 months.

Got the same deal with first month free. He's at

Haggled and got 1 month free on top of everything. Thanks

Thank you. Cannot wait to go back to vodafone. Three is awful indoors!

Vodanon where I live. Very poor coverage.

Agree!

Good deal. For those who aren't eligible there are a few decent cashback offers from Quidco and TCB when signing up to Sim only deals.

I also got the £13.50 for unlimited mins&text and 4gb of 4g with 6 months of spotify premium a couple of weeks ago without too much hard bargaining. They said it was 50% off the £27 sim only deal and was especially for me, I don't feel so special now though

4G is irrelevant with Voda as they can barely manage 3G outside of London. I moved to EE and can't believe the difference in data coverage. Be vary careful moving to Voda as you will suffer non-existent data coverage

Thanks for the heads up matey. Was looking at Vodafone after the customer service and reception from Tmobile has been poor to say the least. Three have been mentioned as providing the overall package...

Like another poster in this thread I got unlimited minutes and texts with 4gb data over 12 months with 6 months free Netflix for £13.50 per month.

I was able to get the same retention deal for my girlfriend but at first they were saying they couldn't do as much as 50% discount. It was only after we gave them my number (and he "spoke to his manager") that we were able to get the same deal.

My advice to anyone trying to get the deal would be to be persistent, they can do 50% but will probably try and give you less if they think you'll take it.

I was looking at going with Vodafone but even a quick scan on their coverage checker shows awful 4G coverage in most places , and also a helpful message saying they have no plans to bring it where I need it. That pretty much defeats the point of having 4g data. Despite the bad customer service , EE does have much wider coverage - three as well for data but from experience their phone signal is pretty dire.

cheers - i'm in the middle of a 1 year sim only vodafone £9 a month deal with a crappy allowance. I called up and said my friend had just got this deal for half price and they said they would match it (put me through to retentions ream). So they cancelled existing contact for free and started a new 1 year with this for £16 per month - DEAL!

My friend tried to get this and they said no. It doesn't make sense unless its half price or less with the coverage you get.

I paid £130 to get out of my contract with 5 months to go as I couldn't bare the poor service any more, you couldn't pay me to move back

Vodafone coverage is sooooooooooooo bad

What's a retention deal?
I called up Vodafone and asked them and the staff didn't know what it was...

Also, I have a 12month sim only plan with vodafone that ended a month ago and now I am on a rolling contract. Can I apply?

If you want to make phone calls then Vodafone is reliable for that, if you want to use a smartphone then forget Vodafone their data network is shocking. **** poor 3G coverage their E and GRS rarely works if you can even get that. Been with them about 17 years I should have dumped them the last time but will be this time.

Yep voda are fecking shocking company. poor service no signal, awful!!

i have been looking around been with vodafone for like 14 years. and before that was with dileaphone or something but was still on vodafone, my old sim card used to be black thats how long ago it is. but sins updateing my phone looking for a good deal for 4g will give them a call and see what they offer

Ask for your PAC code.

You may not get put through straight away, you may get a call a few days later if you are not offered it there and then.

Alot of the big companies work like this.
retentions is a different department to renewals, they have bigger discount allowances.

Ask for your PAC code which means you want to move to another provider. They will put you through to the retention team and then its all on your haggling skills.
I haggled and got this deal:
Details

4GB data. Unlimited mins/texts,

6 months subscription - netflix, spotify, sky sports(only one)

3 months free data - data test drive

1 month free

So £13.50 x 11 = £148.50 for contract duration 12 months.

All the best.
