I was chatting with the Vodafone retentions team earlier to get an upgrade on my wifes contract and managed to get myself and my daughter an upgrade as well

my daughter is getting 500 minutes unlimited texts 5gb for £8.50

my wife is getting 1000 minutes unlimited texts 1gb for £7.50

and I'm getting unlimited minutes unlimited texts 2gb for £9.00

making the whole contract £25 a month

I have cancelled the order as they fcuked it up

that's pretty good but retentions deals are usually quite specific.

That's not that bad considering its Vodafone.

I got 10months left on my contract. Am thinking of jumping ship. But if I get offered anything like that I may consider sticking around.

The 8.50£ a month would be somethings I'd like.

You tied into a long term or these rolling monthly?

I got unlimited mins and texts plus 3gb 4g data for £6.75 upgraded via live chat an hour ago...

that's very tempting - doubt i'd get it as a new customer though

I got a similar deal to Hank.. unlimited mins and text with 4gb 4g data for £6.50 per month for 12months

i'll give it a go - ideally i don't want to be tied to a 12 month deal because my circumstances are likely to change quite significantly around June next year but I suppose £6.50 a month is easily manageable.

So its not an actual deal its just a maybe under certain circumstances and blah.

I think Vodafone can give someone upto 35% off a current deal on their site. But you have to be on a contract with them for a set period of time (probably 4months+).

I usually only upgrade because I get 30-35% off. But their customer service has been so bad this past contract that I'm out unless I get a good sub £10 contract.

But I got 10-11months to go.

nothing doing with vodafone, although they've got a current deal of 5GB of 4G data, unlimited minutes and texts for £15 a month on a 12 month deal.

Three are doing a gig less for £9 a month though which is tempting.

I was going to leave and they reeled me back in.
Offered me 4gb, unlimited calls and txts for £13pm. Not as good as anathi's price above.

on chat now trying to see what i can get, contract currently due for renewal

offered me this for £11.90
500 minutes, unlimited texts, and 5GB data

12 month contract

I was with Vodafone for 4 years. The first two I had no complaints, great company. The second two were evil. When I took out my upgrade with them it took them 4 months to charge Me the right amount, I was calling up all the time, I had no service at all in my house, I was relying on my wifi? Texts were never reaching me or I wasn't receiving any. It took me two hours on the phone to leave the company when my current contract was almost up. I'm now with ID mobile, it's costing me £10 a month for double the data Instead of £35 and I rarely have an issue. I've not moved house or anything in the whole time. I'd not recommended Vodafone to anyone. Awful

Have been with vf for a long time. Support has always been poor but recent engagement better. They have also just been fined 4.6m by OFCOM so you would expect them to raise there game. They have the cash to do it from their verizon sale. Personally I have usually got 50% off at renewal time. Currently paying £11 pm for unlimited calls 6gb and 6 months Spotify with 3 months free and a sure signal.

Unfortunately this is typical Vodafone **** up. Promise you anything to retain you as a customer, but don't deliver. Bunch of **** up ****.

My two year contract is coming to an end thank god! After fighting with them for 4 months regarding a discount I should have received. Have to admit their customer services is awful. And they clearly don't understand what you are saying to them even after explaining to them 3,4,5, times! Highly DO NOT recommend Vodafone. They tend to **** up a lot. They also over charged me almost double for the first 3 months, and getting my money back was a B****.

When I was cancelling I got through to the 1's that you can't understand and they were laughing and carrying on in the background . The call advisor was giggling away while I was telling her why I was ringing and someone was hitting the buttons on her phone cause it was beeping every so often. I told her that she was very rude and unprofessional, she said they were celebrating cause 1 of her colleagues got a good call I said to her well you haven't and that I'd been with Vodafone for 19yrs and never had an advisor be so ignorant in all them yrs and I hung up

Just been on the phone to vodafone as upgrade is due and I was told quite simply that they would not be able to offer me any special discount or offer on a sim only despite having 2 numbers with them which both need upgrading. Extremely disappointed as wanted to save the hassle of porting numbers over to a new network.

How did everyone else manage to get a decent offer from them??

oh ok, not surprising really as alot of people seem to have had bad experience with Vodafone.

Might just wait and see what black friday deals there may be from other networks.
