Vodafone retentions deal - 50% off any 12 month sim only plan over £22

I've just accepted the following deal:

unlimited mins and texts
10gb 4g data
3 months free unlimited data test drive
12months sky sports or spotify premium or 6 months Netflix
plus 6 months now tv voucher

£16 for 12 months = £192
I also managed to get first month charge credited to account due to a mess up with the last bill which cost me £5

Beats all the other Vodafone retention deals hand down in my opinion!!!

Personally, Vodafone has excellent signal in all the places I go to.

To get the deal, request your pac code and ask for the offer, or wait till you receive a phone call offering you the deal. Turn down any lower offers, 50% is the max they can discount.

I've stuck with Vodafone due to their plans for improving the network and the money they are spending. The girlfriends with three and it's hilarious the amount of times she has no signal to make a call. The plan was to switch to EE after trialling their free 100gb data sim offer but looking at there sim only plan costs I decided against it.

Any cold voters other than 'I hate Vodafone' ' rubbish signal', please explain why and a link to any better offers out there.

Im the opposite as my 3 mifi unit has 3g or 4g signal almost every time I go to use it, where as VodaGPRSfone is lucky to have anything better than GPRS on so many occassions. I travel the uk with work and its uk wide that I find 3 miles better than Voda

Hence im leaving Voda purely down to coverage as I end up linking the mobile to the mifi unit just to be able to use it a lot of the time. Retentions didnt offer me that deal and no one has called back since I got the pac code mind

Interested in your comment about them improving the network - is it written down anywhere what difference they expect to make to 3g / 4g at all?

If I could get decent coverage id be more than happy to stay with them, esp at these sort of prices

I was offered it straight away when I asked for my pac code! I was really surprised. I turned it down and the follow up call offered the same again. I have been paying a high bill for 12 months though

never get to use 10gb data on Vodafone, you wouldn't have reception long enough, I paid over £500 to exit contract early the signal was so bad in Essex, hardly the most remote location in the UK X)

I used over 30gb last month tethering to my iPad whilst moving house... (I upgraded tariff in sept so had data test drive again)

Vodafone signal used to be OK for me, then a year ago died off both at home and work. Just about make calls but wwwaccess none existent. Vodafone response we haven't changed anything you never could get signal there! Duly ditched them now, EE stated no plans for 4g at home, yet four days ago started picking up 4g signal!

worst coverage network going officially by ofcom. Unfortunately I am stuck with vodac**p for work. coverage is so bad I reckon only have signal for voice call 70% of time and data is less than 50%.

I've switched to Virgin from Vodafone due to their sim only deals being too expensive and reception being bad in my area. They never bothered to offer any retention deals either. Since switching I have had much better signal everywhere I go. Not regretted leaving them at all
