Due an upgrade today, spoke to retentions and managed to get a Twilight Pro for £37.10 for 24 month contract. Then text confirmation added 5GB bonus data for 24 months!!

16GB worked out at 35.25 but didn't include Red Entertainment.

Make sure you speak to retentions, sales said they couldn't budge on price.

it depends who you talking to or how long you have been with them. They kept asking me upfront and more monthly payments for 16gb and never even offered 32gb also phone was just a black version.
I just left vodafone as their 4g speed is like a joke. im getting 6 7 times faster speeds at ee so far so happy with my ee quality.
I got the same deal (as a pre-order so with headphones)
Phoned Vodafone to enquire about this, and they said they could only offer this deal at £59 per month. They suggested that the offer must have come from a 3rd party upgrade seller?

You have to threaten to cancel.
Thanks OP just upgraded to this exact deal!

If you're already a customer ask for your pac code, they will scramble and offer something similar.

Should be cheaper by now anyhow, I also got the same deal but with the headphones.
I just got the same phone on a cheaper deal. 9gb data plus unlimited bits, £143 upfront and £22.50 per month (£540 total over 24 months).

Total cost for the phone and the plan over 24 months is £683. The cheapest I can find the phone outright is £680 from one of those Chinese/HongKong sellers/importers.

That's a good deal I'd say.

The retentions department said that they could offer 30% off at most on any combo, but she managed to squeeze out a loyalty bonus and I'm right at 35% off the advertised prices with this deal.

I got the exact same deal after asking for my PAC code. Was on a sim only that's due for renewal in August so worked out well.

The cancellations team put you on monthly cost saver plan which is £53 per month instead of the usual £59 . They then add 30% discount changing the price to £37.10 per month and remove the upfront cost . Vodafone then add 5GB free data to the plan within a week due to their Huawei Promotion . I have told you exactly what to say to the cancellations team so even someone who is not good at their job can figure out how to give you the deal . You will need to be close to the end of your contract to get this. If your stuck for time just say I want the Huawei P20 Pro with the 32GB Monthly Cost Saver Plan at £37.10 per month . If your speaking to the correct department internally known as the saves team then you will get what you want . If your not then ask to be transferred through if calling

Can this be done with the 8gb £47 or 4gb £43 plan?
monkeymagicman25 m ago

Unfortunately not . This is best plan with the entertainment package …Unfortunately not . This is best plan with the entertainment package included . The 8GB one is not allowed to be discounted and the 16GB on can only be discounted to around 37 . The higher ups require a certain amount of revenue is generated on the handset so it works out around the same price with no upfront cost . There is an option of 16GB at £25 per month however the upfront is high on that option and the MCS 25 plan as this particular one is known isn't eligible for the extra data. You can get the P20 with the MCS 25 Plan with 16GB data and Unlimited Minutes and Texts at £22.50 per month if that helps (just remember you won't get the 5GB extra on that one) . This has no upfront cost for the phone. Hopefully that helps

Massive help mate, much appreciated!

Please ask the customer service agent to pass you to the saves team if you go through to them otherwise please select the thinking of leaving us option. They are open 8AM to 8PM Monday to Sunday expect for Bank Holidays. For an easy life just say a friend or colleague got the 16GB Monthly Cost Saver Plan at £25 per month with no upfront cost and 10% discount . If the person doesn't understand then ask to speak to another agent as most are on the ball with this one. Unfortunately a lot of customers lose out because they speak to some agents who don't seem to know what they are doing .

Great, will be doing that first thing tomorrow. Just out of curiosity, what would the upfront cost be for the MCS 25 for the pro? As I'd be happy with the 16gb

I don't know the exact upfront off the top of my head unfortunately. I had …I don't know the exact upfront off the top of my head unfortunately. I had sold a P20 earlier so the deal was fresh in my head. There are ways to generate more revenue and reduce the upfront cost however . If you ask for Vodafone Call Abroad 200 mins and Vodafone Full Cover insurance . They will add these on pushing the deal up to £58.50 per month The plan costs 25 . The international call abroad 200 costs 20 then the insurance costs 13.50 . When you add all of these together in the order system . It allows the upfront to be reduced to £0. You wait a few days and cancel the insurance when you get the phone (you can do this in the first 30 days for free provided you don't claim . You have to call customer service who will pass you to insurance cancellations) and remove the international call abroad in your online account .You will be charged some money for the call add on for the few days it was active (it's pro rata on your bill once removed )However it means you can get the P20 Pro for £25 with a small upfront from the call add on . You can't let the agent know your plan or they will try to block it . So to be clear just ask for the monthly cost saver 16GB Plan and ask for full cover insurance then ask for international call abroad 200 (they will offer a cheaper option but say you need this one)Tell them your not happy paying an upfront as your bill will be £58.50 per month . They will remove it if they have done everything correctly .Then cancel the insurance and add ons once you have the phone . And boom you have a good phone at a decent price . Hopefully this is easy to follow. I'm just a Vodafone Rogue who is happy to help (cheeky

Cheers mate, really can't thank you enough. If I could buy you a beer, I would!
