Which network is betr vodafone or three

Vodafone by a considerable margin.
Three are woeful. Although some have had very good experience with three, it's more the exception

Cheers Apur & no need to claim for the cashback
In the previous threads somebody posted that as an existing customer, I can convert my existing contract to PAYG and take this deal and port my number across on the same network (Vodafone).

Is it true and will it work?
What are the speeds for the sim? Will it be limited?

Yes you can but just get a PAYG SIM from a different network

i doubt it....I guess you would need to convert to a different provider PAYG and then back to Vodafone.....be good to hear if it is the case otherwise though as I will be in same boat in another month or 2
Looks like I can "Yes, you can surely do that. For that you need to cancel your PAYM contract and our disconnection team will help you in moving it to PAYG and then you can transfer your old number to your new contract."
Voxi or this?
I cancelled my EE as uncertainty over job due to COVID and weren’t willing to offer any form of discount.
Vodafone isn’t great but will have to manage any suggestions?

Depends on where you live and where you are most likely to use the phone most often. My connection at home is naff but is great where I work on Vodafone. Others at work say they struggle to get a good connection.

All network vary in terms of area but three seem to be awful in a lot of places.

My while family have been with Three for years, but their signal is just appalling. I get 2 bars where I live (close to Farnborough) and zero signal near Basingstoke ( Chineham). While on the train from Reading to Manchester, I could not get any data at all.
My dual SIM phone has Vodafone SIM as well as Three, although I have unlimited data on Three, but worthless if I can't get signal, so I switch over to Vodafone most of the time.

That's a great deal op, we're about to come off Three next month, so this is perfect. Thanks.
This is my experience of Vodafone this week. Ordered sim, sim received. Not active, Order stuck, needing manual intervention. Got service 3 days after receiving sim. Ported number, failed, no service on old number since 10am yesterday. Now stuck in limbo waiting for them to sort themselves out. Will be requesting my PAC at the earliest opportunity. Absolute crap network.
Is this 5g unlimited speeds?

That’s interesting, I’m actually moving from Smarty to Vodafone. Did it take long to get resolved?

Just gonna have to bite the bullet and top up , or put a bolt on. Be careful if cancelling by texting for pac, I did that with three within the 14 days and then received a bill asking for the complete year up front. I didn't pay it of course and was able to sort it by ringing three.

Minimum top up is £5 , so you could get pac and just use up all the credit before it ports over I guess.
Number won't go through to call centre, as three have closed due to what is going on at present

Solution:

Registered with "my Three" website over WiFi, then requested PAC from "my three website".

Thanks
Credit check failed wtf my credit is good
