This is a SIM only deal for unlimited calls & text along with 4GB of data, after you have signed up and 120 days has passed you will also be sent a £20 Amazon voucher to spend. it also allows you to set a spend limit over the £8.00 i chose £0.00 but you can set it from £10.00 upwards.. would be good for children maybe, or as a backup sim.

Plusnet are doing 6GB +unlimited text/calls for £9pm with £50 Quidco.

Wouldn't recommend Plusnet - barely had half a bar signal in my front room and I live in the middle of a city

Vodafone on the other hand who I am now with full bars wherever I go.

Everyone is different we don’t live in your front room, people need to check their own area before committing and many would find EE signal better than Vodafone but it really depends where you live.

Plusnet use EE who have generally BETTER much better coverage than Vodafone
Good price have some heat.

Im with plusnet myself and have 3 sims.
Only issue is the 4G. Not data 4G but call part.
The phone takes 15/20 secs to make a call on 4G.
Also I dont get calls they go straight to voicemail without rinning.
Its a known issue, they send out new sims that work for a bit if your lucky.
Then start dropping calls again.
The only fix is to set the phone to 3G only.
Then I get better call reception and no dropped calls, and only 2/3 seconds to connect calls.
This setting might help you geekshallinherittheearth

None that I can see but you can have a tenner cashback from TCB or Quidco if you go through them when you pay for your 1st SIM.
The small print.....this is a Vodafone Basics sim deal. No roaming anywhere outside the UK.

Vodafone Basics plans are for use in the UK only. Roaming is unavailable on all Vodafone Basics SIMs. Only emergency calls are available abroad.

No discounts, promotions, offers, or flexible upgrades are compatible with Vodafone Basics. This includes the Vodafone Advantage Scheme.

I will because I'll no longer use a UK network.

Plusnet are not overly good Nationally. I've had them and was glad to get back on Voda. I travel the UK, it worked perfectly in my front room thank you.

that cannot be true, they use EE who have a much bigger network than Vodafone, as I originally said it is just where you use it which is not where everyone else uses their phone everyone is different and in this country there is not a one company fits all

Erm, you really think that EE would let Plusnet charge half the price they that they do and give that very same standard of service? If Plusnet was equal to Voda or EE (BT) I'd still be paying for one of their sims.
