good deal but are you sure, sure! to get contract with them,i m just saying.

I am currently on Vodafone (directly with them not via 3rd party).

Is there anyway i can go for a deal like this but keeping my same number? I don't think PAC code would apply as it is the same network.

Only way i can think is to move to a 1month SIMO contract and then move again. Any ideas?

You need to port your number away from Vodafone onto a payg sim then port back, its a lot of messing and takes about 2-3 days i have done this from voda - gifgaff - voda

Had to pay £5 to activate that giffgaff sim 😳 plus i bought the sim from the supermarket for £1

So make sure you have something ready to port to thats already activated

Ok deal but a word of warning I bought this deal through this website and there were alot of billing issues obviously they blamed it on Vodafone but I got charged alot my first bill was above 400 luckily I noticed before money went out of my bank.and they charged first two months in advance aswell.

wish companys who are willing to do this price after cashback would just offer the low price in the 1st place !
So many more people would pay for this at £189 but many would not due to the cashback part.

I got this straight from Vodafone earlier in the year for £16 per month and free Spotify - maybe worth an online chat if anyone is thinking of signing up

Worth moving to from 3? What is Vodafone signal like? I see they do a network promise.

This is a Vodafone 4G Red Entertainment package so comes with a choice of Spotify Premium or NOW TV for 12 months.
The main reason to buy this as otherwise the 20GB deal is only £11.75 but lacks the free Entertainment bundle.

This gets asked a lot but these deals are only offered becasue they know from experience that a percentage of people will forget to apply for the cashback.
If that wasn't the case it would be cheaper for them not to use the cashback as it costs them a small amount to process the claims.

Cold, redemption deals are deliberately difficult to claim.

I have had a few with these and it's simply a matter of uploading your bill to their website which takes 2 minutes or so including downloading it from Vodafone.

It's a lot of hassle remembering to upload it in the small time windows then getting a cheque to take to bank etc, would rather have auto cashback or a discount in the first place!

If making a note on a calendar and spending a few minutes five times over a year is a hassle then pay more money at the full price. They give you a decent time window to upload and confirm everything via email.
Going to the bank is a hassle for some people but not for everyone. I can pay a cheque in via the automated service so no need to queue.
Complaining because it's not automatic cashback is just silly as the price is almost always much higher for those kinds of deals. It is what it is and it's clearly not for the likes of you.

This forum is full of price conscious people hell bent on getting the best deal! To me a few mins every few months to save a chunk of cash is worthwhile. Some else's forgetfulness is my subsidy!

Depends where you live.
Worth checking their coverage in your area at their website.

I live in an area in London where Vodafone (and TalkTalk, which uses Vodafone infrastructure) are the only networks which have a decent signal.

You could have just given them 30 day notice to downgrade your contract to PayGo and then filled in their "keep your number" form to move your Voda PayGo number to your new contract. Saves time & hassle.

Seconded. Piece of proverbial to down load it from the Vodafone site and upload to Mobiles site every couple of months. Easy money.

I love these redemption deals. Great way to make big savings. No good if you are disorganised or lazy though.

True but i was out of contract and would have cost me more to give 30 days notice

I've heard that if you buy through any of these 3rd party websites, you don't get Vodafone customer support (191)? Is that true?
