Thought this wasn't a bad deal myself personally.

OK so it's Vodafone, but a lot of people like Vodafone.

You get 18GB of data unlimited texts + mins, plus £50 automatic cashback + £25 Quidco or topcashback.

Doing the sums means....

£228 - £50 - £25 = £143 / 12 = £12.75 p/m in theory.

Not a bad deal IF both cash back options can be claimed.

I can't see why not, its not like you are using a code to cancel out the £25

Got via mobile.co.uk for the 20gb entertainment tariff for £13.50 after cashback redemption
I did this last year and was able to claim topcashback and the usual monthly cashback Have done it again this year too, a month or so ago, but cashback hasn't come through yet. Fully expect it to though.
You’ve subtracted £35 for topcashback/ quidco instead of £25?

works out £12.75/ month.

Vodafone customer service is the worst of the lot. I understand that problems occur but it's the way they are dealt with that matters.

I had to raise 3 complaints in 8 months. Every complaint eventually got the resolution required but only after hours and hours on the phone.

The first complaint was a repeat of an old issue which I had already complained about a couple of years before which I only got resolved by posting a letter to their head office.

I really should have learned my lesson and not renewed with them. Better late then never I suppose.
