At the start of the contract you receive a text which lets you choose between free 12 month subscriptions to the services I have listed in the deal description (providing you cancel it before the end otherwise they’ll charge you afterwards)

Does this subscription to Spotify start immediately with the phone contract, or can we postpone taking it for few months.
I have current Spotify premium until Sept.
Pretty sure Vodafone have put this up to (and therefore will charge you) £28 per month rather than £27. Still a great deal at £13.50 Inc Spotify. I just got a 5gb per month red entertainment contract from fonehouse for £11 after cashback

You can postpone it by just not activating any of the subscriptions and then text ENTERTAINMENT to 97613 to receive the link to the vodafone portal where you sign in with your Spotify account and it activates premium for you

Although I’m pretty sure it would end when the SIM contract ends and you wouldn’t be getting the most for your money

I’ve just looked at the plan in MyVodafone and it shows it as a 20GB plan with 40GB extra at £28 a month but with a £1 a month discount. A strange way to set out the plan but it is sold as advertised

Be careful - Vodafone love contrived offers, eg sell a £20 plan which is really a £40 plan with 12 months £20 discount - sounds the same, but keep it 14, 18 or 24 months & you'll see how the £20/mth price disappears! Their CS is woeful too, but their coverage (for me) is excellent, both home & abroad.

Just goes to highlight the idiots and sheep effect on HUKD voting - same deal £1 cheaper gets iced, while other deal voted lukewarm when OP admits this is better! Hence I ignore the 'hot' tab!

Maybe it is because this deal has 5g in the title? I certainly can't see any factual reason!
How would this work if I already have a Vodafone Sim only plan now coming to an end?

You would have to get a PAC code from Vodafone, then transfer to a different network on pay as you go, and get a PAC code from them and give it back to Vodafone when your new contract is active. A complicated process as it’s a shame we can’t port a number from Vodafone to Vodafone directly.

entertainment pack subscription will end immediately if you leave voda or change package, regardless when you activate entertainment pack.
As I just found out, left voda yesturday after 12m with them and had activated spotify only couple months ago.

you can request pack code from voda desktop account or by txt ( if you don't want waste many hours with pointless retention teams) port it to some other networks payg sim ie 3 three.co.uk/sup…est then ask pack from that payg by txt/online then lastly bring number to voda vodafone.co.uk/web…_50
usually all this takes 2 x 24h working hours

I used Three as the “middle man” between my two Vodafone contracts and it was a complete mess which ended up taking over 2 weeks to resolve when it should’ve been 2 days.

They’ve got some new system for their PAYG sims and on the day of the number transfer nothing happened and it turns out they had ported my number onto another SIM card which I hadn’t thought about or used for a year - which I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t gone through Twitter as their normal customer services were useless.

If you scroll down and see the one that says £174 cashback then that’s the entertainment deal at £12.50 a month. You can press the “i” button in the top right and it says “Red Entertainment” at the top
Thanks, I've been looking out for another entertainment deal.
Can't see this anymore?
Just click on deal it's still there😳 🤭
