Sorry, voted cold because it is postal redemption (strongly recommend avoiding and using Special Delivery if you don't, which adds £6.60 per claim - last used A1 in 2013 & 2014 and I would be reluctant to repeat the experience).

However I have to agree that the deal looks great. Would point out that with postage, you cannot get to £18/mth.

Edit2: A quick search reveals that redemption is still a problem for some (& someone else annoyed, who reckons they ship EU imports flashed with UK firmware). trstp.lt/VbJ…KkT & trstp.lt/-_c…aqL

I have no issue with redemption, but would recommend AO or CPW/DCP brands (i.e. mpd or mobiles.co.uk).

Yeah, agreed. I've had no problems myself with recorded delivery, so would add about £10 to the total cost of the plan, but can imagine that some others may have had issues. I think it's a good deal nevertheless, but could be a hassle for some.

Was your experience recent? I have to admit it is 6 years since mine (because I'm so reluctant to risk a repeat). That said the trustpilot link is from this year.

I propose a voluntary code of conduct; if cashback is claimed properly, we will acknowledge within 7 days & pay/issue & deliver the cheque in the timescale published (or 14 days if not published in the offer) & if the money/cheque are late, we will acknowledge within 7 days of being made aware & pay/deliver the cheque within 7 days. Sign up to that A1 COMMS & I'll buy from you again.
My experience was years ago too. About four years ago. I'm looking around now for a new contract and happened to find this one.

It is frustrating that none of these places that require claims to be sent by post provide confirmation of receipt. That would help their case a lot.
Vodafone let me down plenty of times. Customer service lied and never fulfilled a promise. I am awaiting to switch from them as my contract runs out in August
