No uncertainty of tracking cash back, Just follow this guide along with your order, submit online copies of your bill for the cash back to be sent

Claiming Cashback

It’s super simple to claim your cashback. All that’s required is your network bill and your Fonehouse account. Just login into your account and click the button titled ‘Claim Cashback’.

A form will be pulled up, asking you to fill in your order number, name. email address, date of birth, network, telephone number and bill date. You’ll also be asked to include a PDF download of your relevant bill then simply enter the details you gave when you placed the order and submit your claim. You’ll get an email shortly confirming your claim has been submitted successfully.

If you have any issues when trying to claim, you can contact customer services who will be able to help rectify the problems.

When to Claim

The dates you claim differ depending on which contract you have taken out however, they are both claimed in the same way. Redemption cashback is paid in 5 equal instalments throughout the duration of your contract.

You will need to download and submit bills which can be downloaded from your online account with the network, not Fonehouse.

If you have a 12-month contract, you need to claim using the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 12th bill that you receive from the network. You must submit your claim within 60 days of receiving the relevant bill.

3472296.jpg

If you never want to miss a claim, you can set reminders on your current mobile phone.

Cashback Time Frames

Each time you submit your cashback claim, Fonehouse process the submitted bill within 14 days. Successful claims will be paid directly into your bank account within 21 days.

Cashback is paid via BACs into the bank details you give on the order. If your details change, please update us so we can pay the cashback with ease.

Reasons of Rejection

There are a few reasons claims could be rejected however, they are really easy to avoid.

If your bill is submitted outside the 60-day period, your claim could be rejected. If you submit the bill as soon as you receive it, this won’t be a problem.

You won’t be eligible to cashback if your pay monthly contract has been canceled. You must be paying your monthly bills to receive payment.

The tariff you order from Fonehouse must be the tariff for the duration of the contract. If this is at all altered, your cashback claims may be denied. Cashback is specific to each deal and we are unable to edit the amount between different tariffs.

You need to make sure that all details you enter on the cashback claim form match the details we have on the order for you. Your claim may be rejected if this information doesn’t match our system. If any of your details change, please call our customer service line to update these.

If you submit the wrong bill date on the cashback claim form, you risk your cashback being rejected. As long as you follow the above cashback claim dates, the bill will be correct. Just double check that the bill date you enter on the form matches the date shown on the network bill.

My current contract is on Vodafone via Fonehouse. It has been running for 9 months and I've never had any issues with getting cashback submitted or paid.
It's £7.50 per month after cashback from the other Fonehouse deal.

Wonder if this will go to £150 cashback once they need to stimulate interest again like the last deal did?
So tempted to buy myself out of my current Three contract for this... They have been shocking during Lockdown. Contract ends in September.

Heated OP. After the 12 months what are Vodafone like for retentions? They used to be hard work for me! Mind you, that was about 10 years ago

I too have had a Vodafone cashback contract via Fonehouse and I've found them a model of simplicity to deal with: from the beginning in rapidly answering that it wouldn't affect anything if I migrated my mobile # in after contract started; through to their online cashback form being easy to use and clear; and payment being made direct to bank account within very reasonable advertised period (14 days from memory), as opposed to waiting up to 2 months for a cheque from e2save in the post in past contracts.

Of course Fonehouse isn't that large a business so you may feel they are more vulnerable in today's marketplace, but that seemed to apply to CPW recently too!

For me (on 4th new Vodafone contract) Vodafone retentions have always been totally unable to come close.
Only small hassle has always been need to migrate my # away from old Vodafone contract to a PAYG with little credit on it, to migrate it back to the new cashback Vodafone contract.
I was on a Three deal with Fonehouse but managed to switch to this within the 14 day cancellation period. I do have to say the service I've received so far has been excellent.
Did similar to this, but £150 cashback. Went all fine, after the 14 days cooling off period, fonehouse for some reason changed.my cashback from £150 (which I have the emails) to £96. Contacted them and still waiting. Won't use fonehouse again if they don't correct this issue. And looks like me and wife are not the only ones with this issue
More complain for fonehouse than mobile.co.uk

Won't be the first time Fonehouse have tried to change the costs of the contract. Would not trust these at all. Also the main price is never shown and is stupidly high, so on the yearly rpi the extra charges mount up. Be careful guys.

I have the same issue. Showing £96. But fonehouse customer care had responded that the £150 cash back will be honoured.

Won't go back to them ever, if it goes otherwise. But have to give them the benefit of doubt.

Cash back for a household member has been flawless.

Well, I believe you, haven't phoned them, sent email and also a private message here in HUKD. They haven't been replied yet. I will wait and see what happens when I submit cashback claim. Anyway, thanks for the reply

Worst than that (and I will do it later, but today) is wife did the same as me, still don't have sim card and cannot use phone because already left previous operator. And direct debit is already active
Will report both issues no later than today

What do you mean by having problems?

I did port to three 2 weeks ago, and it was ported in the day specified. As per ofcom, it takes 24 hours, so if you start on a Monday, your number should be ported the next day.

Did you request port using 3's website?

The situation is only getting better I would think with more people out in the streets!

I requested port using 3’s website and it was supposed to port in on the 21st may. I’m still waiting for it to port. 3 customer support keep telling me they can’t access account and to wait among other excuses.

That's very odd! Did you check your 3 SIM first, using My 3 account?

I am just thinking, worst case, get a ASDA SIM, and port using the same PAC code. It won't expire unless used.

I had the same issue when i logged into my fonehouse account. I called the customer service and it seems to be a typo. I've had my first cashback payment in and it is the correct amount (£28.80 which is paid in 5 installments).

Good to know, meanwhile I am still waiting for a reply from them
Word of warning for anyone porting their number over - mine got ported last week a day after I placed the order, and still haven't received my sim yet, so stuck with no connection / access to my original number. I've picked up a PAYG sim for now, but if you are going to get a PAC code and want to keep your number, wait until after you receive the sim before transferring your number over.

The exact same thing happened to me. I was expecting the sim the next day but didnt come. Fonehouse told me it might have been lost in transit so I should ask a new one from vodafone. That's what I did. 3 times as at all occasion I wasnt receiving the sim on the day expected. Last thursday (one week after my order so not that bad but as I was expecting next day delivery it was) I received all 4 of my sims the issue was from royal mail as I received all my royal mail parcels on the same day too.

What day do you use to submit your bill? I’m yet to submit my first claim from a contract, I’m aware it’s every three months but I wasn’t sure how accurate the day must be.
Sorry to be a pain but can someone be kind and tell me the best way to go through with this. My current EE contract ends on the 6th of June (1 week away) i would have to unlock my phone once out of contract so i know there will be a few days ill be without my mobile data. I already have my PAC code, do i need to give that now when purchasing this sim (which means id have to wait till the 6th or get charges fees)
I did a uswitch deal pay 38 got a 80 contract no redemption just pay the lower amount

If I'm reading this right, I don't believe you'll be asked for the PAC during the new order. Wait till the new sim arrives and set it up then? Not for this deal, but that's what I've always seen happen in the past. Number ports are mostly done by text nowadays aren't they?

That's interesting! I don't think it would hurt to order now, without giving your PAC. You'll just be issued a new sim with a new number... you can port your old number in anytime

Leaving my current provider EE and looking for a new SIMO contract to move to.

Tempted by this but Virgin Mobile's unlimited + 36GB for £13 with £15 Quidco is swinging it partly thanks to bad comments on Fonehouse and fact this is a redemption deal.

Currently paying EE £16 for unlimited + 25GB which is still not too bad these days but there's better deals available and EE weren't willing to match them.

I find Vodafone the worst of the major networks. Not only have I been on all of these networks, but in my household we have one person on each right now. Based on our experience:

EE (best by a good margin)
Three
O2
Vodafone (worst)

Imagine using Vodafone.

Vodafone have a had a "problem" in my area for 2 months now and aren't fixing it.
I bet if it happened in Central London it would get resolved quite quickly and not take 2 months.
Looking to swap now

It all depends where you live. I've also used each of the networks and Vodafone are best for me.

Vodafone (best)

Does anyone know what the best option is if you see a good deal on fonehouse website. Would you take that deal and then transfer number(would this be via PAC) over to that contract or ask retention if they can match?
Have been on a Vodafone contract via fone house for 10 months now and cashback process is simple and has up to now always been paid so cannot fault them.
